Dear Ghostcrawler, Blizzard, and all those who enjoy the World of Warcraft:
Thank you for making this wonderful game. On behalf of the Shapers of Destiny on Wyrmrest Accord, I would like to talk a little bit about my last few months of gaming experiences. I have become more and more attuned to the fabled “Blue Posts,” and kept up on news about this game so many enjoy.
The philosophy of this game, for the Shapers, is to find a way to have fun with the people we have online when we decide to do something. Our guild does not “raid” in the traditional sense – we do not yet have 10 players with which to tackle the “current raids.” Often our members just do the daily heroic, even if we don’t have a full group, and hop around on their own. This means we are far from in the “top gear” – this kill, as with most of what we enjoy doing, involves far more than just big damage, a high avoidance on the tank, and 3k bonus healing for our priest. However, when enough of us come together, we look at all the content available to us currently and try to give ourselves a challenge. A few weeks ago, that challenge was 3-manning Sartharion.
This week, five of us gathered to test our skill at the new Onyxia10. After several hours of wipes, strategizing, and raid-food consumption, we finally downed the Broodmother. Though we are incredibly proud, and wish to share this achievement with the community, this was the single most fun thing many of our members have ever done in WoW.
Truly, what we wish to share is a philosophy of gaming, if not a philosophy of life: Take what you get, and find a way to enjoy it. If you’re not enjoying the game, maybe it’s time to take a break. WoW is such a vast game, I think for many there is room, somewhere, for you to truly enjoy it – either through challenging PvE content, through arenas, through battlegrounds, through casual RP in Stormwind all night long, with title collection, grinding for rare drops, or playing the auction house to amass gold, just for the sake of having it.
So enjoy yourselves. Respect each other. Remember, this game is what you make of it.

There is no enrage timer that I know of; it's just an endurance fight.
Correct, it was actually done with 2 in naxx40 gear at some point.
And yes, endurance. We're pretty sure that, barring a HUGE jump in gear, it'd be hard to do with less than 5 though. We were almost getting overwhelmed as-is.
