"Emerald Dragon Tears" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12200), just for the quest text: "Within the shrine you will find the hardened remnants of a green dragon's tear drop. I don't know the whole story, but apparently they cry a lot right before they die. Go figure."

Hmm, from a semi RPing perspective I would say 'Flight of the Wintergarde Defender' and some of the followup quests. Just because (at least to me) it felt like you were actually doing something to help. You swoop down and rescue some poor villager and wisk them away to safety.
although getting stabed by the Lich King a couple of minutes after getting off the boat in Howling Fjord was cool too.

What’s the good of having mastery over cosmic balance and knowing the secrets of fate if you can’t blow something up?

Easily the most epic quest line had to be the AQ40 Gate event, from having to kill nefarian in a timely matter, to all the threads / posts about the book pages. Fishing up the giant fish, getting Azergous's ghost to help you. etc. Talking to mermaids ...

Like you've never asked someone to tell someone else something for you when they are within earshot? ;p
What about favorite quest lines? There are quite a few worth mentioning, I'm sure.
Mulgris Deepriver's WPL questline. The ending is so sad :-(
"In their anguish and keyboard turning, their A and D keys will explode, leaving them POWERLESS and UNABLE TO MOVE LEFT OR RIGHT - then, we strike in unison."

I happened to like a lot of the Argent Vanguard quests for some reason. I liked some of the phasing, and the fact that it was like you were sent there to personally help the whole place.
One of my favorite new questlines was the one where you try to help the guy in Icecrown from dying, and becoming a scourge. You had to run all around trying EVERY possible option from very powerful characters to help him.

Onyxia key quest, horde side.
Too bad that it wasn't accessible enough that it got cried about all the time.
