I've always been thinking that they should have a summonable flying mount as well, since they have the ground mounts.. Pegasus for the pally would seem most befitting, I hadn't thought about which the warlock should have, I would always just picture some sort of demonic looking pegasus

haha, yeah that would work.. now the ground mounts they had, the lock's were pretty straightforward with looking like a demon horse, nothing too fancy, just a horse on fire. the paladin's were fairly decorated, as a warhorse would be. for a flying mount, would they follow the same idea or should they be more mythical and less decorated?

With warlock I think that a generic flying mount would work, since their normal class mounts are all the same.
However, with Cata they'll be doing more race specific paladin mounts (For tauren and draenei at least), so I'm not sure they'd be able to do a flying paladin mount without creating racial flying mounts. Plus, I really can't see a tauren riding a pegasus, but that's just me.
But, I do really like this idea. Hope it gets implemented in Cata.

yeah thats certainly true.. a belf might get away with riding a pegasus, but i agree a tauren just doesnt look right on one.. but as far as flying mounts go, taurens look kind of awkward anyway because they are so big. whats a step up from a pegasus for a tauren that stays within bounds of reason?

Some people have been suggesting having the return of Sun Rocs (an extinct species that has a presence in Tauren mythology, not the mob. You can take a look at one's talon in the museum at Ironforge) or a beefed up version of Wind Serpents. I'm not so sure about the Wind Serpents, but the Sun Roc might work.

Warlock:
dragons maybe? warlocks are based on fire and destruction, so are dragons. also it's easy to make a dragon look demonic or dark
they could also just sprout demonic wings and fly, similar to druid flight form. you have to admit that would be kind of cool

Paladin:
i agree with the pegasus idea

I was thinking warlocks should literally get a bat out of hell as a summoned flyer.

I demand Rogues get an exclusive flying mount - Warlocks in demon form! If they get unruly, we can stunlock them into submission!

Agreed.

For Pony!!
After the release of BC, I reserved the name of Garrosh for a Orc Warrior on Lightning's Blade... All bow to the might of your new, unplayed Warchief!

This just in: Paladins and Warlocks must have the training to purchase the unique summon mounts at level 40 (level 20 remains training and spell come in one).

Personally, I've felt that giving more mounts seems a bit off. Paladins and Warlocks have spells and abilities which gives them wings. Blizzard should work off that, even though I join many in the fear of incoming 'OMG Angels and Demons!' stuff that would happen to RP servers.

Go bug druids who now save (250g) at level 60 for flight form + flight training.

We DO "buy" stuff.

Q u o t e:
the next hotfix is removing the air from the bubbles so that the paladin has to hold his breath, and thus is silenced.

But it's far cheaper than the actual training, especially in the old days.

Pegasus flying mount for paladins would be EPIC!!!! Although, if they do that, it really should be a reward for an equally-EPIC quest chain. The kind of quest chain that many wouldn't be willing to complete unless they were trully dedicated. You know, similar to the original pally warhorse quest chain during vanilla WoW.

The Prot Pally...

...like a walking, talking, spell-casting, ass-kicking, piece of stone!

Sometimes, it's not even fair...for everyone else.

Warlock mount can't be a gargoyle, that's scourge. Instead it'll be an infernal.

*woooosh*
Bystander: What was that?
*giant ball of green molten rock crashes down on him*
Warlock:Whoops, bad landing.

"Hello Lawlbubbles

If 5 of the people in your raid are having the issue and the other 20 are not then there is probably a client side issues at play. "

Don't even start about the old days. Everyone could buy their epic mounts for 800+ gold. Paladins and Warlocks spent well over that on the quest materials for their mounts, AS WELL AS having to go through (then) insanely difficult quests that took you to the most difficult dungeons, some of which (Dire Maul) finding a group for was impossible.

Paladins and Warlocks had to WORK for their mounts, WAY harder than ANYONE else did in the old days. So, get -off- your high horse.
