There will probably be a 1-2 month period when the new race/class combos come out that you won't be able to change into them. So that the first lvl 85s of those combos will have leveled up as that.

Okay, I realize that you can't give an exact date for the release of this function, but for me it's something that's highly anticipated. The reason why is that I want to change my main to a Draenei Paladin. I currently have a level 71 Human Paladin, and I had begun leveling a Dreanei Paladin since I was guessing that we wouldn't get faction and race transfers until around the timeframe of Cataclysm (which I figure won't happen until mid 2010 at the earliest).
Then you fine folks decided to throw my estimates for a loop by releasing the Faction Change feature months ahead of my guess (and props on that). So now I'm wondering if I should stop leveling my Draenei Paladin and instead work on getting my level 71 Human Paladin to 80 since the Race Change feature will be out soon? Or can I get my Draenei Paladin up from level 25 to 80 before Race Changing becomes an option.
Again, I'm not asking for explicit dates, but do you have anything that you can give us so if some are waiting for it, we can make decisions around it?

First of all, why the heck would you want to go from Human to Draenei?
Second, no matter when Paid Race Change is coming, the time you spend leveling your Draenei will be wasted time - You could have used that time to get your Human Paladin to 80 and start gearing him, and use the Race Change at any time during leveling, or after he hits 80 if that's when it comes.
