I had a GM fix my instance. I sent a petition last night before going to bed hoping it'd be fixed. It was not. I sent one this morning, and logged on JUST as they sent me the email saying nothing could be done. 30 seconds later, the GM msg'd me saying they were mistaken, and something COULD be done.

He had me form a raid, go to the ToG 25 man raid, and wait. After 3 minutes of his tinkering, the NPC to spawn the fight appeared. He told me to activate the encounter, zone out, and wait for a soft reset. I'm back now to log in and check on status of soft reset.

Get a hold of the GM, and give them a link to this thread. Be *adamant* that it can be fixed. Push it. They'll want to clear queue and move on. Make them fix your raid.

So what occured when you zoned back in after the reset? We got a GM to spawn the NPC yesterday. When we spoke to the NPC to start the floor event, he just disappeared and nothing happened. We then left (haven't zoned back in yet)

I had put in a ticket last night for the issue and have yet to get a response from a GM. Upon logging into the game a few moments ago, the ticket had been CLOSED and i did not receive an email regarding the issue. This is after waiting over 12 hours for a response. It seems that either not all the GMs are on the ball with this issue or some of them simply don't care. The fact that my ticket was closed and no email sent is rather frustrating.

After I zoned in and the guy spawned, he ran out of the zone. I followed. I signed back in about 2 hours later, and went back, and the guy is there telling us we did a great job. I'm hesitant to start the event, honestly, because I don't want to soft reset it again. I can't tell you if it will work or not.

Is there any chance we can get some sort of verification on this? My guild would really like to kill Anub, but we are afraid we may be unable to due to the stupid floor respawning...

Any ETA on this yet? this gonna be up before the end of the night, my guild doesnt raid the rest of the week, would like to kill some stuff

Any chance that we can get a status update more than once every 18 hours? Many of us are watching our raid week go down the tubes, would be nice to at least feel like you were making an effort to correct it.

Been waiting around 8 hours still no response from a GM ingame.

A whole raid night canceled thanks to this bug. Yogg is dead; my guild has nothing else to kill.

No response on any petitions.

Update for you all...

A hotfix has been deployed that will prevent the instance from entering a bugged state where Barrett does not spawn after a soft reset. If you haven't gotten to Anub'arak yet, you'll be fine now.

For those of you already afflicted with this bug in your saved raid, I'm still working on a method to correct the issue via hotfix for everyone so afflicted.

In the meantime, our customer service staff has been informed how they can resolve the bug for a raid with a bugged instance.

That's great, but are they actually going to respond to the tickets before Tuesday? We had a few petitions last night and all were closed without a word.

What a load of crap. It's one thing to completely screw us around by not testing content properly - but to then blatently LIE to customers, and inform us that GM's will do something about it when petitioned is terrible.

Recieving an Email, after our ENTIRE raid petitions stating "We are aware of the situation you reported, and we are currently working on a solution. Please check the World of Warcraft website" because the GM is too gutless to actually speak to one of us is an insult to paying customers.

You assured us that your staff could fix it. And they won't. We can't even tell them they can, because they won't respond to us in game.

This game is a paid-for product.

Say GMH released a faulty car. They then inform customers that the fault is known at service centers, and would be corrected if you contacted them. That would be fine. But imagine turning up, and being told (after a 12 hour wait mind you) that nobody could fix the issue, and to just wait.

I don't see the difference. Get off your backsides and fix it. Or at least BE HONEST and TELL US YOUR CAN'T so we can make other plans instead.

So now all we have to do is enter a ticket 8 hours before raid so a GM can actually get to it before we want to start the raid.... I tried entering a ticket last night and got a canned response saying that the instance resets once a week. /clap /clap Go GMs...
