You can't get back down to Anub'arak after a soft reset.. basically you kill it or bust after you've spawned the Lich King. Was doing Hard Mode 10 man late last night and called it after a bit of work on Anub'arak thinking we could come back to him.. appears we were wrong!

Yeah there's about 4-5 threads on this already but they don't seem to be getting much attention. We were practicing our HM strat on 25 anub in his normal mode when the lag became unbearable. Went to do 10 mans and when we came back we saw to our disappointment the floor respawned (thus we don't have access to hard-mode 25 man).

Hopefully they fix this!

We lost our 10 man Anoob - didn't even bother trying 25 cause we knew something would screw up with it - i wish predicting lottery numbers was as easy as predicting Blizzard fail.

Sigh, one of our tanks had to go at 10 man HM Anub.

We haven't tried 25 man Hards yet because we wanted to get a feel for the fights on 10 first. -_-

It's possible they may have fixed it already. This was a response from a GM on the matter :

I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience experienced as a result of this. There was a recent issue on the realms that has since been resolved. You should be able to continue after trying again now.

Not sure yet if "trying again" means waiting for an instance reset.

Are you sure the GM was not confusing this problem with the problem some realms had of Anub not being unlocked (as though it were week 4 instead of week 5). I am assuming these are two different probelms.

No I don't, but the GM's response was from a ticket that said something along the lines of this :

My raid has no way to summon Anub'arak, the floor has respawned, and there are no NPCs to start the event to break it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the GM was confused.

I think a lot of people are going to be affected by this.

I know that we ended after a couple attempts last night and were planning to finish it tonight.

Bump for some visibility and the hope for a quick hot fix.

I've been checking my instance every once in awhile, floor is still there so whatever that GM was speaking of, I'm 100% sure he was confused :P

If you aren't already, you should probably make sure you wait at least 30 minutes between each time you check so that it soft resets again.

Same situation from a soft reset from late last night. As of 5 minutes ago the floor is back and there are no NPCs.

yah really, dipped after 3 attempts to go do homework, but god damnit i woulda taken the F!!!!

The same thing has happened to our 25 man.... I've had a ticket in for the better part of the day with no response.

I'll add another to the pile here. I'm so annoyed :(
