last night we couldn't spawn anub after twins died so we left the instance, formed 10 mans, and did the 10 man. came back an hour or so later, reformed raid, zoned in, gave it one or two shots, then called it for the night (wihtout killing him).
so today we go there and.. we can't get arthas to come out... BUT we can start in on hardmodes already!

Our guild didn't kill him last night and when we entered the coliseum today, the floor was there. Also, we are able able to start Trial of the Grand Crusader.
Can we get a blue answer about this??

We're working on a hotfix for the issue of where Barrett isn't there to rebreak the floor for you. No ETA at this time, but I'm checking it out.

Thank you. That's the first answer any of the threads have gotten for hours upon hours. Hope for rolling restarts tomorrow, and the hotfix should be put in.

So...You guys had PTR....5 weeks during live raiding until people actually REACHED anub'arak, and also 10 hours+ of maintenance yesterday....yet can't get it right the first time around..../facepalm

As far as I know you can zone into heroic whenever you want, you just need someone who has killed Anub'arak on normal to be able to talk to the guy that starts the instance.

Some further notes about this...
- The problem specifically occurs if you soft reset AFTER you've engaged and let Anub'arak reset. So if it's getting late, you might want to not engage Anub'arak until you have a larger block of time.
- You can start The Trial of the Grand Crusader if the person to talk to Barrett has either the 10 player or 25 player version of the Call of the Crusade achievement. This does mean you can start the 25 player Heroic if you've just finished the 10 player version.
