Oh Povall... *cries* he was such a sweet gentle man, friendly and loving even through a computer game. I'll never forget him getting lost in MC and BWL, he may have struggled at times, but his charm and joy shinned through. May he rest in piece, a great man has left us.

I first met Povall, aka Scoobydont, about three years ago in the guild Ordo Sanguis. I began my raiding adventures with him in Molten Core. I quickly came to know his vibrant and colorful personality - not to mention his unique brand of humor. Later we both joined the guild Elements, and afterwards, we ended up going to different guilds where we lost touch to my regret. I am so glad to know that he found a home in a caring guild like Fabled. One thing I will always remember about him is how full of life he was. Very few things ever got to him. His friends meant the world to him and he was always there to help them.

Alleria in general, and those who knew him in particular, have lost someone special. However, look for a bright new star in the night sky over Azeroth shining down on all who play.

Rest in peace my friend...

He was indeed an unique individual. Met him in my days in TLC and then WDA.

I raided with Povall back in the Ordo Sanguis days. I already did an emotional post on another couple of forums so I will say this. I remember him most for the BWL raids where he would get lost. The raid would then try to give him directions on how to get back to us. Don't even go there about ZG. Although I joke about these things, my opinion is with Kent in that he was a sweet man who was a pleasure to play with. I haven't talked to him since you changed your name from Povall. Anyways,

Povall Radio FTW back in the Penance days Carl had his own teamspeak channel and played his tunes at all hours of the day. Such a kind directionally challenged man. Hope your rocking out in heaven bud.

Scoobydont aka Povall passed away on Saturday, Aug 22 at 60 years young.

RL name...Carl

He was a gentleman and a dear friend. He has brought me great joy thru his caring heart and it has been an immense priviledge to have known him. He was kind, generous, had a quirky sense of humor, and a quirky perspective on life. He loved the game for the social aspect of it. Though he was directionally challenged, he loved to raid. Though he had a slow learning curve, his eagerness to learn endeared him to many.

Many wishes for endless happy questing and raiding my friend and I am sure he has already created a new macro to /follow someone. I love you my friend and will miss you dearly.

I remember Povall from picking him up as a PUG back when APC first started MC. was a good guy, and as sad to say was fodder for a few jokes (IE getting lost in an instance) but was a good guy that was easy to get along with.

I have not grouped or spoken with Povall in many years, but I will always remember him.

it is a sad day for Alleria - rest in peace my friend.

R.I.P Carl.

Always tried so hard when he was in the raids with us in WDA, doing Kara and SSC and such. Would like to think all who grouped with him at some point or another are better people because of it.
