The following bug fixes to Val'kyr Twins were just deployed, and they will increase the overall difficulty of the encounter.

- Surge of Light and Surge of Darkness were not being cast properly on Normal difficulties.
- Light Vortex was doing less damage than Dark Vortex.

Along with those two major bug fixes, we also increased the rate with which the Concentrated Light and Concentrated Darkness spawns.

Was this done like this morning or in the last couple of hours? Did it around 6pm est and it was facerollable on 10 man. You could just heal through ball damage and hope you get the proper power up. After you see all the abilities it is basically impossible to fail unless a person doesn't know the basics if raiding. Which they should considering you should have done all ulduar bosses to be at this tier of content.

Anyways, I guess I'll rephrase my question. Will there be a solution to the disconnect issues? While its not that big a deal, would prefer not to have accidental raid wide disconnects happen during an important time.

The only things that need to be fixed in ToC is server constantly dumping everyone back to their hearth location.

Oh, and disable blink on the mage since it likes to blink into the wall and then despawning all the damn npcs. It really gets old.

Threre is no fixing needed for FC. Your guild just need to play better.

On the other hand, Twins were super easy, thanks for the somewhat buff to them.

We did the Twins on 10 man last night at around 8:45pm Pacific time, and all 10 of us got dumped to the character select screen in the middle of the fight. We all came back in, still fully buffed, so no one had died. We tried again, and the exact same thing happened again.

I heard from a guildie that this was a known issue, but a cursory glance through the posts here didn't reveal any mention of this. Has anyone been able to complete this on 10 man?

After 8 "attempts," yes.

My guild gave up on the 25 man version after this happened repeatedly, then did it a day later, when I couldn't be there :(

And I'd like to add a voice to the "don't nerf the Faction Champions." Not that it'll do a ton of good...I expect they will be nerfed anwyay.

The instance crashes about every 10 minutes it is doable on 10 man and 25 though. You just have to be quick on loot before the instance resets again or you'll lose it (Lost one piece of gear this way)

The twins were still ridiculously easy and we got the 3 min achievement without even trying.

Yeah got the 3 min achieve on 10 man without trying last night after the 'buff'

Yea we downed it easily and no one bothered to change colors. You seriously have to work to wipe at this fight.

I know i'll get flamed for this, but I agree with the above poster.

It's not that the fight is actually hard. My guild's downed it, and will do it again. It's that it's not the sort of gameplay I am used to from PvE. When I roll into a raid, I expect a much different sort of encounter and mindset from going into a PvP arena fight. I LIKE that mindset, it's why I raid and don't PvP much. I like learning a fight strat, memorizing the strat and performing it perfectly. I don't like randomness or luck or wildly changing fight strats from week to week. If I did, I could go PvP to get that fix. "Mixing it up once in a while" in this fashion removes the entire reason I raid, and it's just irritating that it's on a boss I can't avoid.

There's nothing wrong with trying to change fights a bit and introducing some PvP style elements into it. Just do it in Vault of Archavon or something. Or put it on an optional boss, or a hardmode. Don't put it on the 3rd boss in a very linear raid that REQUIRES everyone to do it.
