So I've recently heard about the new races that the 3rd expansion will bring us and quite frankly I'm excited. Worgen sound very cool. But what made me lose interest in a Worgen was the thought of the thousands of other people playing a Worgen on my server. Once the new races are released Worgen will over populate the realms. Not to mention the faction transfers will be out soon, which will let the Tauren druids switch to the cooler Worgen druids. In my opinion Blizzard needs to rethink giving the Horde Goblins and give them a race that players will want to play just asmuch as the Worgen. Not that I'm not glad that the Aliance is getting a "werewolf" race, but this could seriously hurt WoW and not to mention all the players getting frustrated with this and ending up quiting.... What do you all think?

/palm The Aliance deff need the Worgens for sort of an edge. You know? We have all the classes lol. Except Blood Elves thank god. But I know what you mean. And Goblins deff need to be rethought. Also with the faction changes coming soon, giving the Horde the worgen would make everyone wanna reroll Horde even more, which will destroy the Aliance and WoW would suck balls.

Someone hasn't been watching the forums very closely.
While not quite as much so as Worgen, many people are VERY excited for Goblins. The greedy, explode-y little bastards are more popular than you seem to think.

Maybe so but IMO this will all go downhill. Me personally, I'm satisfied with both new races. But I still think that Worgen will be everywhere.

Didn't seem to stop you from rolling a night elf hunter.
People WILL want to play Goblin as much as the Worgen. Probably moreso. It's just the furries and kiddies will be drawn to Worgen, while midgets and those interested in the fine arts of explosives will be drawn to Goblins.

I couldnt agree more. But I've learned that a large fraction of players are young kids. And for your info i was a noob when i made the Night Elf Hunter lol. I didnt know what people were playing more or what.

OMG u guys think goblins SUCK?!?! they are actually pretty kewl with ther go kart and plus they get the best discounts no matter what reputation they have... plus if ur a worgen why would u wanna ride a furry pig?!?!?!?!?!

I remember at the end of BS's cycle everyone had just heard of the choppa for engineers, and the qq was so strong it could punt a tauren from Silithus to Eversong. People were screaming that a real world vehicle had no place in World of Warcraft.
Now that a go-kart is going to be a horde mount (and probably alliance by killing a trade prince in some 5-man) it is the most badass thing to happen ever.
I see the goblins for what they really are, pointy green gnomes. No more no less. I'm still glad that the horde didn't get worgen though (I see enough twilightards roll BElf Dks).
Honestly outside of the starting questlines I don't think I'll be leveling either of the new races.
Anyone who doubts Goblins needs to look at one fact green skin. Who else has green skin?

I like the Goblins myself. I also think that many people will roll new characters in both new races just for the novelty of it. Some will stick with it. Some will only do the starting areas and go back to their main. And others won't try them until the initial excitement dies down. It's par for the course. Hopefully, there will be a little something for everyone in the new expansion worth checking out.
