All across the board people are complaining about the lack of games available to people with experience turned off, is anyone looking into this?

Have they thrown around the idea of pooling everyone with xp turned off into the same battlegroup ques?

I'm not asking for a solution in 5 minutes, but a blue response simply saying "we understand there is a problem" would be golden, and I wouldnt feel like we twinks are being ignored!

If you even dream of beating me, you better wake up and apologize.

The problem with combining all them is physical, you can't hook a guy up in alaska to a guy in mexico and expect a perfect connection.

BC capped 70 twink

If a blue made a post stating that they acknowledge the problem, you will only ask for another response 48 hours later.

is it? I thought that some battlegroups contained servers from two seperate physical locations, and that blizzard would simply need to change their settings to make sure players with xp turned off all qued into the same port, effectively the same servers

Are there any blues looking at posts today? There are about a thousand random posts, and this is the only one I can see relating to this particular issue

maybe they should implement something on a forum so that people can see that a blue has READ a post, even if they dont post in that thread.....

Q u o t e:
Blizzard DOESN'T care about twinks and implimented the exp system in the first place to rid the game of your wretched scum and villainy.

And went to the effort of making a new que system for people who turn their xp off?

Just because there are people out there who don't understand this game (people like you) and they are the majority, doesn't mean that blizzard doesn't care about those who do

As with all the changes made to the battlegrounds, we are watching this situation very closely. While we don't have any immediate plans to alter the changes we've made or the realm configuration, in order to deal with this issue, we will continue to work toward making this type of gameplay supported without having it impede or effect the experience of other players not interested in this type of interaction.

could there possibly be mini cosmetic rewards to low level twinks? I don't know, something to encourage people to twink, but it is only available to those with xp turned off. More twinks will result in lower queue times.....

So the game is really about stopping at level 49 for example, collecting best-in-slot items, enchanting them to the point where you can kill another 49 who is using unenchanted quest greens in a couple of GCDs, then staying there forever?

Im afraid your "understand(ing of) this game" appears flawed. That or you were in the couple of percent of twinkers who actually found perfecting a lower level character entertaining, as opposed to the far vaster majority who were only in it for the cheap thrill of dominating levellers. The reason you have no one to play against is because this vast majority no longer has a reason to stay at level 49.

Sure its your $14.95 a month, but its our $358.80 - and we think you're retarded

Is it just me or is this the only answer we have seen to multiple questions?

Q u o t e:

For a long time we've wanted to allow players to gain experience through Battlegrounds. One major issue with this though, is that we cannot have those players entering twink matches where they just get rolled over and over again, gaining virtually no experience. We don't want players who are participating in Battlegrounds while continuing their leveling experience on the same playing field as those who make the most of their character in a given level bracket and want to stay there.

If there are a lack of matches launching for those with experience gains turned off, it just shows that this isn't an exceedingly popular form of game play, at least not on some Battlegroups.

Q u o t e:

Unfortunately, there are massive technical limitations that prevent this from being a viable solution.

Q u o t e:

I wouldn't say we recognize it to be a problem. There are those who love to twink characters, purposefully trying to stay at a specific level with specific gear just so they're more powerful than the majority of the characters within at least 4 or 5 levels of them. Then there are those who wouldn't mind playing in a Battleground for fun now and then during the leveling process, particularly now that experience is offered. If Battleground queue times for twinks on any given Battlegroup are so long, I think it just goes to show what a small, niche form of game play twinking is.

As a company, we've never officially supported twinking. We've just been allowing it this whole time. Now with patch 3.2, we're technically supporting twinking by allowing players who aren't level capped to play in Battlegrounds without risking leveling up. The only fair way to do this though is to separate the twinks from everyone else, and thus you have whatever is left over in the twink queues.

Edit: What Crygil said too, because it sounded nicer and contained fewer words.

Funny

Used to be non-twinks couldn't get in an actual game due to twinks.

Consider this karma.

No.....they could get in games. Whether or not they did well was depending on how many twinks were there.

Twinks now can't get in at all. It would be actual Karma is the twinks were queued against people 10 levels higher. This is just destroying the only thing twinks were allowed to do.
