Or, y'know, they could just make the *new* judgement helm still count towards the old judgement set bonuses(and more of the same for the rest of tier two, but really, judgement is what matters).

Also - Seriously, talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth. Patch 3.2.2 is Onyxia and people complain about rehashed content... except before they complained about classic raiding being useless with the new current content(with early northrend greens better than T4/T5 and Outland greens on par with T2....) I think a lot of people just like to complain.

Now, if Patch 3.3 was announced as Onyxia, I could understand the gripe - That'd be a clear pushback of Icecrown, but I'm sure Blizzard won't do that. They're painfully truthful(sometimes to the point of arguing semantics, but still), and they've stated that 3.3 will be icecrown and will be the last major content patch of WoTLK. I don't think it's largely effected by this at all.

Blizzard obviously has known about their 5 year anniversary of WoW for, well... I'd say probably 4 years and 11 months now. And they've probably been planning it since, oh, probably about a year ago. If you're just now upset that they're decided to celebrate with some nifty stuff(that, in my opinion, probably is just for funzies and won't largely effect the Lore...) then you must've not been around at all for the last 5 years.

I'm surprised people haven't complained about all the pop-culture references(star trek engineers anyone?). Come on Blizzard - quit stalling with all these wastes of time. What's that? you like the lore you've built for yourself and don't like people soloing the dragon queen because it demeans her significance? Pshaw! I say. you mean you want to celebrate your 5 years of success and wonderful playerbase by giving them extra goodies that nobody expected? You mean you're not going to ask anything in return? as in, there is no catch? Really? Why would you do that?

They'll probably remove the flame thing (forgot what it's called) from BWL. As for Quel'serrar...may it rest in the hand of vets and the few nooblets that have aquirred it since.

This is amazing and I am very happy they are doing it, but I hope the new mount isn't one of those 1 in 90000 drops like Kael's mount. Though seeing as its gonna be 310%, it probably will be :(

did the think tank dry up? is a new boss that hard to think up? its not like you don't have pages and pages of lore of different boss to bring to life. If you are that stuck on bringing a dragon up, pick like Deathwing or something around the same lines. If it doesn't have to be a dragon why not throw a Scarlet Crusade or Cult of the Damned 10/25 raid in.

Hopefully that should satisfy the people who crave the classic "Vanilla WoW 60 only" experience so badly.

In truth, Sartharion is a big black dragon that you fight a close-quarters cage match with, so really the experience is still there. What's Onyxia's specialty? "Many whelps?" Tenebron brings that.

Still, classic Onyxia memories will still have a place in my heart. I remember the race to be the first to bring her down.

That wasn't onyxia. That was in UBRS.

This change comes right before blizzard's highly anticipated visions of removing all the old soundfiles and cutting out the rest of the people who helped make the foundation of the game what it was.
