Q u o t e:
Player :

Hi, we'd like some kind of abilities to help us reach a better level of competitiveness in Arenas.

Blizz :

We've been aware of the Hunters plight in Arenas in recent years, here you go :

Aspect of the Cheetah: Can now be learned at level 16.

Player :

Hi, we'd like you to revisit the BM tree to make it a little closer to MM and SV in endgame PvE.

Blizz :

We agree that the Beastmastery tree has lost a little more utility than we intended. To address that, we're adding a new Spirit Beast.
.

Why your wife left you.
Wife: Why is WoW more important than me?
You: Its not! I play WoW for 12 hours, sleep for 8, and spend 4 hours with you!
Wife: ............
You: Sorry guys, had wife aggro.

If you guys are afraid they'll just answer the dumb questions, try spreading the word -not- to ask dumb questions?

Why would we need stealth? We only hunt things from the foliage while wearing "stalker" outfits.

That's like asking water to not be wet.

Maybe the hunter Q&A requires new tech, which is coming 'soon'.

Honestly, after seeing what the other classes got for answers on their respective Q&A's, expectations could not be any lower for what's in store for hunters. Hell, if they even post it before 3.2 comes out, I'll be utterly shocked. Let alone if they actually answer any non-fluff, non-garbage (ie. not cherry-picked) questions.

Violence solves everything. If it's not solving your current problem, you aren't using enough.

Blizzard had to get to the more important classes first, such as Paladins and Death Knights, because those classes have a lot of urgent problems that need fixing.

Hunters, however, are just fine and have no problems. Blizzard plans on saving the easy work for last. Maybe if we could twirl our pistols.*

Now rogues, they'll probably not even get around to that one, because honestly, who even plays rogues anymore?

*In Star Wars Galaxies the pistoleer class was so blatantly overpowered that when the developers did the same sort of Q&A for all the classes, some of the major problems that they had were not being able to twirl their pistols and not having enough "flashy" special effects for their attacks. I'm completely serious about this.

Q u o t e:

Thats not what blizz considers the hunter problem. The hunter problem to them is how to get everyone to stop playing their hunters and start playing dks. That way they can eventually delete the hunter class.

I know I have. if BM can't be viable I will be on my DK. Or maybe outside where I really should be anyway.

Blizz doesnt have the computing power yet to proccess all the questions that will be forthcoming....

I dont think anyone has computers that powerfull yet, maybe the Department of Defense might

proof: you all saw the warrior Q&A right.......

and yes I know you guys have it worse, at least I could if I wanted to, go and find a healer to make up for my pvp deficiencies, whereas you guys have enough problems that blizz could release a separate Q&A for each aspect of the game for you.

Q u o t e:
I'm convinced the people would complain If Blizzard lowered the subscription fee.

You're not going to be skipped. In fact, the hunter Q&A is going live today, I was actually putting it up but there are a couple last minute changes. You should see it a little bit later today.

One of the answers to one of the questions is "Ask this at Blizzcon"...

The only really good answer in there is the explanation of why the ammo change got delayed... which is long and basically comes down to 'it would require us redoing the entire inventory system including the bank which isn't safe to do without extensive beta testing'.(Edit: Note, he didn't say they wouldn't be doing this, just that its not safe to do for a patch...)

So basically what your saying is blizz doesn't care about hunters?

R.I.P. Garwal, 2009-2009. May Har'koa have mercy on your soul.
Also, WTF BLIZZ?

Nope. What I'm saying is a small part of what the q and a contained when I read it.

I kinda hope there're more questions than when I read it... because if not, we're all gonna be a bit disappointed.

It's still up on the MMO-Champion Blue tracker. I actually thought it was better than a number of the other class' Q&As in that they used slightly clearer language and were more straightforward.

Well, except for the part were the devs just refused to answer one of the questions put to them, telling everyone to ask them at Blizzcon because they'd

Q u o t e:
like to keep the focus on each class’s current status and short-term plans, but at BlizzCon we’ll be happy to go into some more detail on our long-term vision for them.

Seriously? I could have sworn GC said something about these Q&A's being about sharing a bigger picture of the classes, not being about upcoming patch changes.

I don't know, the only one I read was the paladin one, and it was pretty bad.

Do what you enjoy.

Every class Q&A we've posted has been disappointing to some. The primarily goal with these Q&As is to provide some of the philosophies behind the class as well as address the more common questions being asked by each class. Addressing doesn't always mean full disclosure, because sometimes we don't have a concrete answer to provide, while in other cases we're just not ready to discuss the answer. There will be a great deal more information released at BlizzCon as well, so we don't want to be premature with providing information on certain subjects.

Its more straightforward but a lot less informative I felt. Especially that last question...

Felt like we were given sort of very barebones information(except on that one question which I was very glad to hear the completely understandable reason for the delay)... in very clear language.

Why did you even bother including that last question if you weren't going to give us even the slightest hint of an answer for it though? lol

That just seems like its designed to incite flames...
