What is your definition of having content "On Farm".

Some people I know seem to think managing to kill something once or twice constitutes it being on farm however my definition is more along the lines of it has to be relatively easy to do. For example, Flame Leviathan is incredibly easy to kill, thus it's on farm. On the other hand killing Vezax or twice in the past month or two does not mean that he is on farm.

Am I correct?

No u. Seriously.

Content on farm is content that you will kill during your normal raid schedule. You don't have to schedule extra time for it. You may wipe due to stupidity or someone not paying attention, but you know the fight and it'll go down if people pay attention.

That boss that's not on farm is the one that you got a lucky attempt and are still working on a reliable strat.

I always hear it used to refer to an instance which is no longer a mystery, and perhaps not much of a challenge, whose content is explored solely for loot or achievements, and approached in a more lackadaisical way.

For instance our guild calendar lists "Ulduar 25 Progression" on Wednesday night, and "Drunk Naxx" on Friday. Guess which one is on farm?

Going by Crepe's rules, I'd say Ulduar.

The ability to notice a pull while peeing suggests some disturbing arrangement of electronic and porcelain devices.

Or a second floor apartment and very annoyed neighbours.

But proper drunken raiding requires a strategy. Hence, "On Farm".

"On farm" means that guild has already downed all of the bosses of the raid in question. They can also consistently down all the bosses, so much so that the guild does the content every week and downs the bosses every time.

If you have a strategy... you're not drunk enough.

Content is 'on farm' when you don't need your best 10 or best 25.

Once you can down her with the guy who doesn't understand basic English and gets annoyed at you for it, the giggling girlfriend and Mr 'I was AFK for dinner everyone has to eat', then it's on farm.

Strategy is ensuring that the slab is close enough to your chair that you do not have to move.

Tactics is negotiating the empties to get to the bathroom.

For me it's when the content is easy to the point of not taking more than a couple attempts each week (bad nights can still happen though). I also believe this term has no direct definition and varies from one person/guild/realm to another.
