Q u o t e: I what i liked most was...
"we used to exempt warriors from the design philosophy that pure dps classes should do more damage than hybrid dps classes. We try to no longer play favorites here. Warrior damage should look like that of Feral druids, Enhancement shamans, Retribution paladins, and death knights."
but they don't want to buff warriors ability to heal them selves. I fail to see the trade off. I think that warriors should be able to make those classes such as paladins and death knights who can survive so easily through heals cower at the sight of a warrior not completely pwn them.
I have never come close to the level of DPS that a pally or DK can dish out, it takes everything i got to take them out in pvp when they can kill me 9 times out of 10 probably while eating a burrito.
... pretty much i have to be prot to pvp or its not worth it.

Q&A
Answeres
"Yes we are aware" 'No we do not have any plans to fix this at this time"
"I will pass it along" " sometime in a future patch that may be possible but not at this time"
"No" "working as intended" " we feel the warrior is where we want them at this time"

What about when they changed the sword spec back when hamstring still did damage and wind-fury gave you an extra attack. In BC it was too much burst damage, but since both have been changed, they haven't gone back to fix the "balancing" of the talent itself.
To balance out the sword spec with the other changes made they need to fix the initial "fix" and either put it back to the 5% chance to grant an extra attack with no cooldown.
Considering that a rogues Sword Spec gives you a 5% chance to get an extra attack on the same target after hitting your target with your Sword. And that includes two 1H swords (10% chance) compared to a single 2H at a slower speed (5% with a 6s CD).

Q u o t e: Q: What is the reasoning behind this and do we have any plans to change that type of gameplay?
A: We like situational abilities. When specs don’t have situational abilities, it’s easy to fall into a very fixed rotation. We call this the metronome. Push button 1, 2, 3 on your keyboard over and over until the bad guy drops loot. We have made more of an effort in all the classes to have certain moments that require players to pay attention a little more and then reward them when they both cause those situations to happen and then execute on them.
Care to explain my ret dps rotation????
i could put a dancing cat on my keyboard and top meters.
Sure, we are not happy with Retribution damage rotation. Don't expect it to stay as minimal as it is now, we've expressed this before. Some changes are coming in 3.2 and I would expect that there may be more changes down the line.

I don't really think warriors need buffs as badly as rogues, DKs and ferals need nerfs. The only time arms and fury warriors come close to my dps is in 10 or 5 man groups that are lacking in melee buffs. Unfortunately the combination of short pulls, full raid buffs and FoK facerolling lets me absolutely obliterate warrior DPS in a 25 man setting over the course of a full raid. If they were more competitive on boss DPS I could see how this could be considered acceptable since it'd hardly be the end of the world if pure classes shine brightest on mere trash pulls, but unfortunately the boss dps doesn't seem to be there either. At least Retribution pallies can camouflage their single target deficiencies a bit by being pretty decent on AoE fests thanks to Consecrate and Divine Storm being part of their standard DPS rotation, but it seems that warriors don't even have that going for them.

Thanks for answering the paladin that comes in and complains in our Q&A thread, instead of the numerous pages upon pages of warriors saying that we really got none of our questions answered. Skirting around the issues and saying "this is how it SHOULD be" doesnt count, sorry.

Okay, to be fair about this, it was a lot better than the mage one. A lot of stuff wasn't answered, but then again, they're right. A LOT of stuff in the warrior class doesn't have a simple fix. I'm really happy to see the changes to shield specialization, that's a huge step in the right direction.
That said, several major gripes:
a) Prot DPS: A more definative answer would help, this problem doesn't seem that hard to fix compared to some of the other ones.
b) Heroic Strike Spam: I'd love to see something done here, but it wasn't addressed.
c) Need for extra Talents/Glyphs to bring CDs in line with progression encounters: This was disapointing. Would it be that game breaking just to make Last Stand a 2 min CD on its own?
d) AP on PvP gear: I fail to understand why it's such a big deal to make one extra set of PvP items with strength when there's like 7 with int already. And even without the concern on rings and whatever, what about 2H weapons? Seriously, who is going to weild a 2H axe and not want strength? Hunters? Why do melee classes then have to share weapons with hunters? Particularly with things like Strength of Arms and Rune of the Fallen Crusader, it really makes me wonder about how scaling is supposed to work here. This is probably why I see so many PvP DKs who just don't bother with runes anymore. Ugh, it's only like 10 extra items to make, not a huge deal but a bothersome one.

I love how even in our warrior Q&A they decide to respond to a PALLY issue but won't comment on the fact that their Q&A answered very little WARRIOR concerns.
