I browse the wow forums using Google Chrome. I have been running into this warning every now and then, and I assume it is from one of the banner adds on the forums:

Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer!
The website at forums.worldofwarcraft.com contains elements from the site cdn1.eyewonder.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.
For detailed information about the problems with these elements, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for cdn1.eyewonder.com.

: anyhow i will run spybot on my computer again and post back here if I continue to run into it.

Thanks for the heads up... I too run Chrome but I've never come across this message while browsing the forums.

I run a program that it just like ad block for FireFox. Don't have the name of it with me here at work, but if you do a Google search for how to block ads in Chrome you should be able to find it.

"Noscript" is the plugin for firefox if I remember.

I use Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer for different reasons, but mostly for testing my web pages.

I find using IE the least has saved me a great amount of heartache.

I too use Google Chrome and get the same warning. I am guessing it is an ad that contain malware. I dont know which ones, because, chrome blocks them with a red screen warning
