I for ( dunno how much like it) like it, well i do realize just a recolor but the appaereance is just meh to me so i prefer stats then appearance so stats are nice I appreciate your hard work blizz :D

You keep using the word "unique", I do not think it means what you think it means.

I for one dont raid with people of the opposite faction. So what I care about is looking different from the other people in my raid. This "factions are different but everyone in a faction looks the same" thing would be much better served in the arena. For raid tier sets it is a MASSIVE disappointment.

My point was simply this, since you seem to be a bit thick, 8 "different" designs is not "Hard work", 10 is a bit closer, 20 is hard work.

I believe a poster in this thread has already done better

And being able to do better isn't my job, it's theirs. If i do my job crappy, and someone who doesnt have my job complains, that is their right, i can't say to them "i'd like to see you do better" because they are paying me to do better than them.

Same goes for blizzard. If i could do this myself, i'd be one charging 15 dollars a month. But they are the ones collecting the dough, and they brag to be the king MMO in their own advertisements, so we expect a high quality service.

I gotta be honest: I find what the horde look like compared to me quite irrelevant. I don't really play with them much, and when I do, I'm wearing my pvp gear, you can be sure. To me, this is about standing next to my Death Knight friend and being a Blue Plate Wearer, vs his Grey Plate Wearer. I think it's a mistake to dismiss many of these posts as instinctual vitriol.

Here's a little secret for anyone reading this who knows me: I'm playing this game today because one day about 3 years ago in Ironforge I saw a Paladin in Judgement and I thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen in a video game. Tier 2 motivated me to hit 60, to learn what raiding was, and to drop my two hander and learn to heal. I. hate. healing. Don't underestimate the power and emotion attached to the tier sets. They're genuine emotion, and while proper words may fail people on these forums, it doesn't make their sentiments invalid.

So the tier sets are different between horde and alliance. Great. It is clear from the preview that the Mage, Priest and Warlock gear of alliance are the same model reskinned. I think that's enough information to start painting more of the picture, and for people to begin to be upset.

We are getting a patch where the new tier of content is 5 bosses. Where tier 9 is spread out across armor class. "Not one, but Two Jormungars" taking on the status it has is telling. It's easy to understand why some people feel underwhelmed, or let down, or disappointed. Dismissing it as reflexive seems wrong, and out of touch.

I got mad respect for Zaryhm editing people's post and straight owning them lol. Especially that annoying ass Scali gnome. That little kid annoys the hell outa me.

On topic, sucks to say I agree with everyone else, Blizz. What you're doing isn't new at all, it's EXACTLY what you did for Vanilla WoW's pvp sets...

There are a lot more customers in this game than you and just because the negative people are the loudest, it doesn't mean they are the majority. Blizz gets paid to be creative and change things up once and awhile too. There was a time when all the differences in gear and off sets made people QQ just as bad as they are now. I like the new gear concept and I know a lot of other people do too. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean they didn't do their job

Yea, your artists are definitely working hard. Less designs, worse looking quality art, worse designs. Just a terrible terrible system.

I always liked the difference between lvl 60 pvp armor for alliance vs lvl 60 pvp armor for horde, but i would advise there be more distinction between say a horde priest armor set vs a horde warlock armor set instead of simply giving it a different tint of color... Just small differences, but anyway i trust the art guys at blizz. they always make some prett epic stuff.

Really, there's very little difference in the artwork between the greens that you got in Howling Fjord and the T8.5 you are wearing now, it's so everything "matches" You can bet your guild back that no matter what they do, all the sets will be dark grey, and will match every piece of gear in your bank.

Personally, I miss the variety in gear that we had in TBC, even though it was easy to look like you just fell into pile of paint cans :-)

It wouldn´t matter if you guys had released both factions sets at the same time. What people are arguing about is not that the alliance and horde are equal. Is that all faction <cloth, mail, leather or plate> users will look the same.

I understand the concept involved in a alliance set and a horde set. but you could have made them all the same colors, i.e., silver and blue for alliance and red and black for horde as long as each class kept some differences between them. I bet you wouldn´t have so many people venting here.
