Is there any chance of some endgame schematics being added anytime soon? Don't get me wrong, the current changes are very nice and a welcome addition. But it would be neat to have something better than the stuff we can make currently (a pair of item level 200 guns and some badly obsolete goggles).

Just let me say that these changes are fantastic Blizzard. Absolutely brilliant job!

My one bit of slightly negative feedback is that I would recommend scrapping the auctioneer in Dalaran.

Although you'd take this to be a bit of strange feedback from a maxxed engineer, I prescribe to the same belief you always have that it's going to take people away from the main cities and crowd up Dalaran too much.

My guess is that just like people taking tailoring/blacksmithing in BC solely for the awesome weapons, you're going to see an influx of new engineers solely for this rather awesome buff to the profession.

Me, I don't want to see the old cities die. I like a bustling Stormwind hehe.

Anyone know if the

The Spynocular belt attachment has been changed to a Frag Belt. The Frag Belt periodically produces a Cobalt Frag Bomb that can be used from the belt every 10 minutes (never runs out!).

can be used in arena?

Q u o t e:
Will you continue to ignore the repeatedly brought up issue over druids in feral forms not being able to use bombs, or can that finally be fixed this patch?

I'm happy to say this is being fixed in 3.2. Using bombs should no longer cause a druid in form to be removed from that form.

Also, in 3.2 engineers will be able to switch between goblin and gnomish engineering for a fee.

Who are you, and what have you done with the REAL Blizzard? You know, the one that hates engineering with a passion and nerfs it patch after patch!

On a more serious side note, what about the rep discounts with the repair bots?

I mean, lets face it, repair costs are a bit chunk of the expenses raiders have, and cutting it down a bit would be lovely. Giving engineers a permanent Exalted reputation with repair bots of all sorts, whether they summoned them or not, would be wonderful, and giving everyone else friendly/honored rep for the purposes of discounts would be nice to.

Also, as a former member of the VeCo raiding guild "Exalted with Repair Bots", I demand that my (former) exalted status with the noble and glorious logistical and tactical support units be recognized!

At a guess, their vision (hah) for craftables is that top tier craftables are less about allowing existing raiders of that tier to compete and more about bringing up lower tier raiders to a competitive level.

Engineering goggles don't fit into that very well, primarily because of their semi-BoP status (ie - engineering required). Blizzard really, really don't want to force people to make their alts engineers in order to gear them. They're also not keen on completely BoP profession specific recipes. That leaves goggles out in the cold.

Guns sort of fall into the same bucket: I don't think there are any ulduar recipes for weapons. Blizzard want the weapons to come from the raid. If engineers made top-tier guns, the fact that only a few classes have access to guns would result in a significant imbalance.

The only top tier gear recipes that we'll ever see would have to be ones that produce BoE non-weapon gear with no profession requirement. I don't think many people are actually keen on that idea.

Incidentally - does the new MC cap allow engineers to tank in Razuvious 25 man?

Q u o t e:
Using engineering bombs should no longer remove a druid from any druid form.

Mind Amplification Dish: A passive bonus of 45 stamina has been added to this tinker.

Nitro Boosts: Passive bonus is now 24 critical strike rating.

Frag Belt: The cooldown is now 6 minutes, down from 10 minutes.

OMG, I love you.

Can we have the goblin Rocket Helmet Enchant? few people have witnessed the goblin rock helmet in action, which is unfortunate because its is the single funnest item in the game. For the past 20 levels its been completely unusable do to the <60 script.

Please, please, please, bring back the goblin land mine.

As always, Gods save the goggles! *salute w/tear*

While it wasnt listed here, I noticed that the arcanite dragonling no longer scales with engineering skill on the PTR, so its only level 60 rather than level 90 like on live servers. The reduced cooldown doesnt seem like much of a buff if you nerf the pet at the same time :/
Or is there any chance of a level 80 dragonling pet being added?

(she pulling up an idea from post 127)

Q u o t e:

I think some of them are awesome ideas.

Inflatable anvil?

a Grappling hook?

A grappling hook, It would even out the score in WG on my Server when the horde Parachute in from Icecrown and take out the turrets from 30 meters. Up that high you cannot attack them as they are partially blocked and it says you don't have line of sight.

Turn around should be fair play, and this would make it fair. No reason why I shouldn't be allow to grapple up to the ledge they are standing on and kick their trash.

I was thinking more along the lines of how Death Grip works. Theres already an in game engineering jumping thing the Mario bots in Icecrown, I want to strap one of though to my back--even though it would probably kill me regularly when my silly biological legs fail to absorb surface impact.
