Thank you so much. I know the Blizzard-Engineer forum relationship has been... strained in the nicest terms, so I'm sure you guys were hesitant to start talking about things. That said, these changes show us that there is indeed a light at the end of the tunnel.

This is great, but...

What happened to the brassbolt rebreather? I was truly excited about that change. But now it makes a free bomb once every ten minutes? I'm an engineer... I can make bombs whenever I please. =\

Would be nice instead of a 10 minute frag belt...we can see a 10 minute cooldown, 10 second invisibility...


or if you want to keep the frag belt in game, have a chance to cause proc creating an improved bomb similar to perfect gem cuts, with improved damage or random effects, like gas grenade to put everyone in a radius to sleep for 10 seconds dealing no damage, or a bomb that creates an aoe frost trap like effect....etc

I hope the new schematics are yellow at 449 so I don't have to waste all my saronite on army knives just to get the last point in engineering the next time I level an engineer.

Thanks for posting about engineering, also;

Is there any chance of making the rocket boots an addition to a normal boot enchant (and get rid of the +hit/cit on it?) I say this because all I do is PvP, mostly arenas and for a warrior, having the meta i'm using is really important, unfortunately I have to use tuskarr's vitaliry on my boots because the 8% (I think) movement speed is way to clutch in arenas.

So essentially I can't use nitro boosts because it would sorta gimp me in pvp. What I'm proposing would allow people to benefit from normal enchants AND the nitro boosts, as a nice reward for being an engineer.

Pirates 4 lyfe.

BUG WITH WORMHOLE :

If you create a wormhole where you return via a hearth stone, port someone via wormhole, without moving hearth and then attempt to take the wormhole again, you will crash with some obscure wow error.



-side note-

4 hours is quite long of a cool down...would be nice if it was reduced to an hour

The bomb thing is cool and all, but pretty useless since i already carry around bombs in my bags. The rebreather truly made me happy because it gave me an excuse to get rid of the kalu'ak fishing pole for one of the daily poles.

They're all good additions but i don't see why you replaced it, i don't see why we can't have all of the belt enhancements that you've told us about. We only have one belt, after all.

As a mage with the travler tundra mount im not impressed, only really cool thing is the worm hole dingy(better have cool transporter malfunctions). Nitro being returned to its former glory is nice(screw u arena nerf and then super nerfing)


Still disappointing for us mages....

Hrmmm.... it's not as exciting as a portable AH, but then again I can see the potential of this - giving Engineers some exclusive abilities as opposed to neccessarily giving us stuff to "make".

....4 hour cooldown - only engineers can use it. (believe horde and alliance players alike as long as they are engineers)


Worm Hole Portal needs to last longer when summoned (5 minutes?) and reduced cool down (1 hour)


2 engineers with strategically placed wormholes....well...now your thinking with portals!
