Are there plans to fix the "XXX Stonekeeper's Shards" achievement soon?

I think that when they made WG quests weekly it bugged it out somehow.

yes it does, specially when your opposing faction controls WG 98% of the time.

Besides, there's a bug or misleading info in the tooltip.

The main issue is that 1000 stone keeper's shards is required for the "Master of Wintergrasp" achievement, while it is not currently possible to complete it while running WG.

That's a bug.

Since they deliberately changed it so that only the shards you get from running dungeons count for the # of shards achievements, I don't think it's a bug. It may not be an optimal choice, but they did it on purpose.

then they should change the tooltip to "loot xxxx stone keeper shards", like we have with the emblems.

The point is, it should be a Dungeon & Raids achievement, not a WG one.

Agreed. It should either be a Dungeon & Raids achievement or switched back to counting how many you've received total. This is a bad design currently, and the failure by Blizzard to correct something this simple after all this time is absurd. Some bugs or mechanics can take a long time to fix - a simple counter is not one of them. Hire a random programmer off the street, give him a day, and he'll probably come up with a solid fix.

I don't think you've thought this comment through....a PvP achievement is really intended to be completed by running a hundred heroics? Did a dev 100% confirm that it was an intended change and not a bug?

I can't imagine any developer really made that leap of logic, unless they intend for the achievement to be relocated to Dunegons & Raids and removed from the Master of Wintergrasp meta (is there any other Battlemaster achi that requires running lots and lots of instances? I can't think of anything...). If the achi is to be relocated it wouldn't be unreasonable. As part of a Master of Wintergrasp meta it makes no sense.

Dude, it's a PvP achievement for a PvP meta achievement, My main doesn't run instances (2-3 to date not including 25 man naxx) and hasn't looted any from instances that i'm aware of but has the achievement bugged at 231/250 for forever now.

Please could you double check to make sure you weren't given incorrect info?

there is no way you expect me to loot 769 stones from instances for a pvp achievement.

Are you sure its not just a bug from when the quests went from 1 SKS to 10?

It stopped counting them well before that, same thing with emblems of heroism, etc. I could vaguely see this change making sense for those. However, even then it seems odd because the quests rewarding emblems of heorism/valor are pretty minimal compared to what you would normally loot.

Emblems of Heroism from quests never counted. It very clearly says looted.

What about the servers where one faction controls WG 98% of the time due population unbalance? I can run all the heroics I can, but I won't see any shard (not only me, but the rest of the guys) because the only time we got WG is at 3am, and most people work early in the morning, and our only chance of getting those shards/achivements are via WG dailies.
