I just saw the dumbest post from a "girl" or troll who wanted the prettiest race. Although that might not have been serious, there are plenty of people who won't roll a class based on their attractive factor. Why must our toons be beautiful? I personally wish I would've rolled Horde when I started playing just because sans blood elf, their characters look more realistic. (obviously in-game realistic, not IRL :P) Orcs in my opinion are the ugliest race, but I'd still roll one. Who cares? To themselves they are attractive. Must we really be so superficial?

I dunno, just yesterday I tried to make an alliance with a friend, to play on another friend's server so he could run us through stuff to 80, with RAF it would have been pretty quick really.. but I couldn't stand looking at any of the Alliance characters/listening to the "Greetings" "Have a good day" and crap the NPC's say when you talk to them.

Back to Horde I went.

No, there are no dwarf druids, nor are there orc druids. He claims he would roll orc if he were a horde, but he rolls a pretty ally toon?

I'd venture to guess it's because this is a video game, who's purpose is entertainment.

And most people aren't entertained by primitive hunchbacks with charicatured racial/ethnic stereotypes woven all through their voice macros.

i personally find the races deemed as "not pretty" much more appealing and think gear looks and everything looks much better on them.

I dont think any of the races are pretty, maybe the draenei can be if you make the skin dark and the hair white. But, I feel you on the horde. I wish I had rolled one too. i've done too much on this priest to change now. Maybe if they had orc priests i'd be interested.

People play to have fun and if their "fun" involves playing something they find pleasing to their eyes, so be it. It's their time, their money, their choice - I don't need to question it.

Here's a heads up for people. World of Warcraft is a FANTASY game and many people still play it as such. And before you start in on RP and such just remember that you play an online fantasy mmorpg....we're all nerds here folks. Every single one of us.

I cant switch characters to post with at the moment, but I usually play gnomes. And the reason for that is I find it so amusing to watch this little toddler looking thing running around beating the crap out of everybody. The entertainment value of watching a gnome swing a 2h'er never runs out.
