We're seeing many threads being launched discussing the tier 9 set bonuses. We're going to provide a single thread here in which to focus some of the feedback.

Do you really feel Rogues will give up t8/8.5 being that the 4 piece bonus is just that groundbreaking and amazing? Any possibility in seeing it turned into a talent like our Druid counterparts already have?

* Shaman T9 Enhance 2P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Lava Lash ability by 2 sec.
* Shaman T9 Enhance 4P Bonus -- Increases the critical strike chance of your Stormstrike ability by 5%.
Yippeeeeeeeee! Stormstrike is 5% of our damage. Lava Lash is ~3.5% of our damage (at best).
So we can safely say that a 5% critical strike change increase on Stormstrike is going to yield us 0.25% overall damage increase.
Now, the Lava Lash one is a bit tricky. We are always on GCD from the countless other things we do while dpsing, but let's say for some stupid reason that we decide to prioritize an off-hand attack that deals pathetically low damage. Going from a 6-second cooldown to a 4-second cooldown, would yield a 25% increase of Lava Lash damage (while lowering all other damage by larger amounts). Therefore the 2-piece bonus gives a 0.875% overall damage increase (minus all of the damage we lost using Lava Lash that much more often instead of other abilities that actually deal significant damage).
----------------
A grand total (minus all of the damage we lost using Lava Lash that much more often instead of other abilities that actually deal significant damage) of 1.15% damage increase for our 2 and 4-piece bonuses COMBINED.
Is it April Fools already?
Please, GC, tell us the name of the designer that tests Enhance out in raids. I want to shake his hand at BlizzCon.

If the warrior tanking 2pc is real, it's a complete waste. If a warrior ever does use intervene, it's rare. Reducing the cooldown on an ability that is used very rarely seems a terrible waste.

4pc Balance Druid is just a copy of t6. At the time, 4pc t6 was great, and t7 made it even better (adding wrath) but currently it pales in comparison to 2pc t8, and while I'm no math genius, I can pretty much guess that Moonkin will be using 2pc t8/2pc t9 come 3.2. (especially with the new Eclipse changes, 2pc t8 is just that much better).
Oh, and 2pc t9 seems good. I'll wait for the math, but I currently have no major complaints.

Q u o t e: Edit: As well, 'Increases the damage done by your Immolate, Corruption, and Unstable Affliction spells by 0.011 sec.' makes no sense to me.
Wow, it's like they're placeholder values or something.
Also, GC, from Destro locks: 2pc, if you go ahead with the Emp. Imp nerf, is pretty much going to boil down to "Increase your crit chance by 10%". Please catch this now so that we don't become balanced around it only to get it nerfed later.

Rogue 2T9, if the proc rate is anywhere resembling reasonable, is so vastly powerful that it will more than make up for 4t8.
Rogue 4t9 is uninspired and boring and completely useless for 2/3 raiding specs (Mutilate, which critcaps mutilates as is, and HaT since it doesn't apply to eviscerate/envenom)

Half of the bonuses are unimaginative at best. Please do not make each class have a bonus where some ability has its critical strike chance increased by 5%. This is a "slap in the face", unless that's what you're going for.
I'd like to see the bonuses ramp up in power... the rogue 4 pc is incredibly underwhelming (and I'm hoping it's just a placeholder) and would probably have us all keeping our T8. I'm hoping this isn't your intention. It'd suck to have any class end up being like the feral druid T4 2 set.
