Given the lack of anything in the 3.2 patch notes, I'm guessing they haven't quite figured out what to do with warrior tanks just yet. I don't actually think we need all that much in terms of adjustments to be honest. My list is this:

- Rage on avoidance. Please? Strings of avoidance killing your threat generation sucks. (Bandaid until rage generation can be fixed properly)
- Reduce Shield Slam's innate threat from 770 to 250, increase the average damage to compensate (and maybe a bit more)
- Make Revenge like Overpower in that it cannot be dodged or parried. Remove innate threat and increase average damage to compensate (and maybe a bit more).
- Buff Devastate's damage, boost the 50% weapon damage up to something decent.
- Glyph of Bloodrage. Remove the health cost reduction, replace with 10-15 more initial rage

A couple of others that would need pretty careful tuning:
- Change warrior crit conversion from agility to strength. Would need a lower conversion ratio than the current agility conversion, of course.
- Vitality grants x/y/z% of strength as expertise rating

Edit: One more!
Why do we have to use two glyphs and spend points in a sad talent to get decent cooldowns on our saves?

What's your wishlist?

What is plan B? Plan B is exactly the same as plan A - but with twice the explosives.

Rage on avoidance is such a ludicrously easy change to make as a band-aid that it's a complete slap in the face that they have not made this change for this patch. I think they would just rather we be gimped for this entire expansion. By the time they fix block it will be time for another expac, and no one will care about raids anyway.

1. Reducing the cd of Thunder Clap from 6 seconds to its original, 4. Our AOE tanking is far too constricted.. it needs work.

1b. Cutting Shockwave's stun to 2 seconds and reducing its cooldown to 10-12 seconds. 20 is just miserably long and the glyph doesn't do much to help.

2. As Satri said, make Revenge a "Cannot be blocked, dodged or parried' attack.

3. Redesign Devastate please. Make it a flat 100% weapon damage, no more 'x bonus damage per stack of sunders' and FOR GOD'S SAKE.. give it a sound that actually sounds like I am devastating something, not sprinkling it with mystical sugar.

4. More rage from damage done, a'la Fury and Arms. We're all pretty tired of avoidance penalizing us.

4b. Make Sword and Board proc trigger an auto-shield slam, like that DK blood talent that auto-fires a Death Coil. Often S&B procs within a GCD or something so close to the normal CD of SS that it may as well have not happened, aside from the rage discount.

5. Take all the goofy 'baked in threat' off our skills and replace it with good old-fashioned damage. Shield Slam is already pretty awesome, but with a tanking weapon most of our other skills (HS, Cleave, Devastate, etc) are a joke. I mean, we're supposedly these brute, strong fighters.. so why on earth do we do like, less than half to a THIRD of the damage of a well-played dps class?

I'd really like to see Heroic Strike get some attention, fixing that would increase my "quality of life" drastically. Luckily my G11 toggleable macro key will prevent me from crippling myself while I wait for that.

Pie Vendor >>>>> you
I also have: 80 Shaman(Resto/Ele), 80 Paladin(Prot/Holy), 70 Warlock(Undecided), 73 Rogue(Assasination), 72 Paladin(Holy. Yes, that's two Paladins) 70 Death Knight(Blood)

Q u o t e:

1. new devastate sound would be great.

2. I like sword and board - giving us auto-shield slams is boring; making shield slams hit harder is awesome and should happen immediately.

3. Vigilance should do something other than be a threat funnel that requires another player to perform for us.

4. moar damage.

1. I agree. Devastate's sound is just.. mind bogglingly off. I mean, you see this GIANT GLOWING SWORD arc into whatever you are attacking, but you get a sound that belongs in a Shake and Bake commercial at best.

2. Of all our abilities, Shield Slam is probably the only one I think is 110% fine as it is. Its instant, hits for a TON of damage, and has a short CD. It scales well, also. I.. I just get majorly annoyed when S&B procs inside a GCD when SS is half a second from coming off cooldown. Plus, how can you say something 'is boring' when you've never experienced it. :P

3. Vigilance does do something pretty awesome that a lot of people don't consider.. it refreshes Taunt CD. Place it on someone who is guaranteed to take damage, like your OT, and you basically have an unlimited Taunt. I do however think its kind of dumb that we need to rely on things like this to boost threat. I'd rather have it innate, all the time.

4. Totally agree with you on this. I think its ridiculous that prot spec contributes so ridiculously low an amount of damage to a raid or 5 man. On some fights yes, it performs better, like Thaddius. Needless to say that is the exception, however. Not the rule. I can tank on a Death Knight, Frost spec, whose gear is inferior to my own, and do substantially greater damage in nearly every scenario.

Our threat should be straight damage - no innate threat values, thus no reason to have a threat channeling talent.

Yep, I agree. I really think the game has evolved beyond the simplistic "Its high threat because we PROGRAMMED IT THAT WAY!" design of vanilla WoW. Revenge is a HUGE threat spike without that because it hits for just a ton of damage. Shield Slam is capable of hitting so hard that it falls under the same category (or would, rather, if it did not have baked in threat). I think its really silly that HS does a fraction of the damage of either but is still somehow responsible for some insane amount of threat.

And Devastate? Ironic that a spell with that name does anything but devastating damage.

all I want are

1. better mitigation (fix block)
2. Fix rage..this outdated mechanic is broken...add rage of dodge/parry/block.
3.Fix our HP scaling issues(better % or just buff paladin base health and give us all same modifier)
4. Fix our AOE...remove cooldown off TC.
5. Single target threat to match paladin or bring them down on par with other tanks.
6. Last stand is a broken mechanic...it gives me 14k hp fully buffed (im around 47.5k fully buffed last stand puts me at 61) give us a increased healing recieved like druid/DKs..druids being way too powerful..with increased % and heal modifier.

These 3 I 100% agree with. I would even like if shield Slam had no innate threat at all. Although I'm not sure that Revenge needs a parry-proof or dodge-proof feature to it. But maybe I'm biased because I have silly amounts of expertise (some of which I plan to replace anyway).

the block change is nice.
but still doesn't do anything for us when shield block is cooling down.

bring back old shield block with minor changes.
no rage cost like the shield block now, increase block value and chance to block an attack by 50% for 5 secs. 3 charges 5 sec cooldown.

increase devastate damage aswell.

I've always thought 20% slowdown should be base for thunderclap so its useful in not only PVE but PVP, and then have the talent do what it does now, but reduce the cooldown to 3-4 seconds for AOE tanking.

Honestly all I want is a -little- better AOE tanking, some more hitpoints, and those block changes to come out and I'll be happy.

I am known by many names. Tank. Meatshield. Fighter. Brawler. Corpse.
I am the Warrior.

I'd really like to see something to do for picking up adds between shockwave and thunderclap cooldowns. A mistimed/misaimed thunderclap can be devastating for add fights like thorim or sarth.

Patch 3.2 looks like the "please go back to 5-mans please!" patch.

I'd like to still have rage in 5-mans, even if I wear my raid epics. I don't know how to do it.
- Rage on avoidance?
- Greatly increased rage per melee swing?
- Bloodrage on a 15 second cooldown?

I want some way to have better rage in 5-mans. Currently I down-gear and equip threat trinkets.

Q u o t e:
Warriors have been stated as the "target" point, why should you get changes? Death Knight is getting nerfed again, to be somewhat inferior to warriors now, you guys don't get buffs so you can be OP next, sorry.

This line of reasoning is like saying 3rd world countries are a wonderful place to raise your children. Warriors don't want to be sub par and they don't want to be average either. They want to be unique and viable not overpowered.

I want the people to know that they still have 2 out of 3 branches of the government working for them, and that ain't bad.
