So how about a refund for those of us who paid full price for our mounts? I wouldn't mind an extra 1800 g in my purse. (Though I did the pally mount quest rather than take the wussy way out and just train for the skill)
As much as I hate to say it, again... there will be no refunds on mounts purchased. Trust me I'd love the extra gold too but it's just not going to happen. Go farm some dailies!

Blizzard reps have said hundreds of thousands of times before that they will never, EVER give refunds when prices on things like mounts go down because 1: It's a crapton of work finding out who bought which mount and how much gold to send them and 2: Because you're paying more to have something special sooner.
Now STOP MAKING THREADS ABOUT THIS!

They already addressed this and said no. Not that they never backed down before but it is unlikely (nor needed).
And when the dust settles, bow your head, close your eyes, and thank the Blizzard employees for their hard work, and stalwart dedication to this game. It is a great game.

Why should we be refunded? If they give me the 1800g back, logically they would also have to TAKE away the 6-7k gold I made from farming and selling the herbs I used my epic flyer to get when I bought it in BC.

When you buy an xbox 360 right after release and then they drop the price by $100 bucks a year and a half later, does microsoft refund you the difference?

They are lowering the levels at which you can get the skill and lowering the price of both mounts and training to be more in line with those levels.
