Hey, just wanted to put up a positive blizz post for once and say thanks for the tweaks to fishing.

The bobber doesn't bob at the last second.

The fishing line now instantly appears as you cast. (saves on a ton of time waiting for school fishing)

And lastly, for OFFICIALLY making the aquadynamic fish attractor 10 minutes instead of 5. It was done last patch, but the item still said five minutes - and wasn't in the patch notes - so I think nobody wanted to thank you for it because we didn't want it reduced back to five minutes if it was a glitch. :P

I like fishing. Fishing is good. ^_^

Awesome, yeah it's good to see those going in and getting a good reaction. They're not huge, amazing, awesome changes, but they're those little fixes that just make playing that much more enjoyable and easy.

You might be pleased to learn about some fishing changes planned for 2.3 then too!

Fishermen, and Fisherladies, will be able to track fishing nodes, similar to herbalism and mining. The ability will be learned from a journal you can find in fished-up crates.

There will also be a couple new types of fish found near Karazhan and Zul'Aman, with associated cooking recipes, one of which is a mana-regenerative soup on-par with Purified Draenic Water, but with a well-fed buff to boot.

Q u o t e:
ooh.

will engy goggles track gas clouds too?

(too hot to be real, eh...?)

Engineering getting a buff?

Come on thats just crazy talk :)

I also think that anytime a Lock states in any forum post anywhere that another class should be nerfed, that the thread is officially over based on overwhelming silliness. -

they are getting their own flying mount.

that's got to count for something, eh?

they are getting a "flying machine". Blizz never actually said "mount". And with the existing track record it's likely to be some sort of flying tonk or mechanical nether ray pet.

Check the front page they've officially said flying mount now.

Of course they also said "The road to the flying mount starts in 2.3" so who knows when we'll actually get it.

ZE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!

Is it just me or there are a lot less fishing crates that pop up while fishing in the outlands compared to the old land?

BTW Fishings buffs are really apprecaited!

Just curious.... the crates from the low-level will give that journal or anywhere?

Be just, honorable and righteous!

Cool that we'll get a Track Fishing skill... I always thought a better idea would be an Engineering-crafted (BOE of course) Fish Finder. It'd be a trinket -- equip for +20 or so Fishing, and makes fishing pools show up on the minimap.

Nice to see something being done with the crates, it's a bummer that Azshara has better fished up loot than anywhere in Outlands.
