Not going to go into anything specific - I don't want this thread to be the usual whine/flamefest racial threads tend to be - just flat out curiosity about something I want to know from Neth. Is anything being modified about priest racials in 2.3?

Fear Ward will be available to all priests at level 20, but there are some changes in addition. Current plans are to reduce duration to 3 minutes, and increase the cooldown to 3 minutes.
To give the dwarves and draenei something else to even it out, they'll see a new ability called Chastise (also given at level 20) which will cause holy damage and incapacitate the target for 2 seconds.

Nice! Is incapacite like a stun, or will it break on damage?

Please tell me "cause holy damage" doesn't mean "not castable in shadow form"...because that'd suck.

So if you want a cc spell as a priest you better roll dwarf/draenei. Wow talk about a freaking awesome ability. Take away one ridiculous ability...give them another for pvp.

You've got to be kidding me. So now dwarves can stoneform out of everything AND stop their enemies for a few seconds? Fair trade. Mainly a PVE spell for an awesome PVP spell... Jesus...

For those complaining about not being able to cast it in shadowform... its basically a silence for holy priests. At least an interrupt. Its !@*!ing great, don't complain, it's awesome even if it means not usable in shadowform.

We've been crying forever about our CC and ways to escape.
You figured we'd all rejoice at finally getting fear ward, but tbh I'd much rather have a 2 second stun as a racial! The grass is always greener indeed.
Can you please give this stun to all priests?
I can't believe I just read that alliance priests get a racial stun from a blue post! WOW!
