Q u o t e:

You, personally, are the reason that Blues so seldom post here. You yourself. When you read this:

I'm sorry if I'm not as excited as everyone else is for this addition but I believe I have the right to post my concerns. To me, I consider this "fluff" and I was really hoping for useful things that could be used in battle and whatnot. Even things like the mana and health potion injectors are fun and nice to have around. More things like this would be great! Grenades and explosives that didn't cost a billion mats are also something that I would welcome. However, if it's just a flying mount that goes the same speed as all the other mounts is all we get, I guess I can take the rest of my mounts to the Humane Society and have then euthanized so they don't take up space in my bank.

Awesome. Thanks.

I don't care if it's fluff, that's half the reason I kept it around anyway (the other is bullets and the helm). I still use my mechanical yetis and squirrels and stuff, so I'm pretty happy to have a <whatever form this mount takes>

Who needs dragons.

:-) this made my day.

I also heard this rumor that some Gan'arg Analyzers in Blade's Edge Mountains stumbled upon plans of a new Field Repair Bot and are hoarding them for their own purposes. Anybody plan to investigate this in patch 2.3?

Patience= Being an engineer. Give it time at least we now know that all the complaints we have been making have reached Blizzard and they are listening. So its only a matter of time before other things are done also that’s really all I can say to those of you who are still disappointed with engineering.

Be warned blizzard retribution is at hand the engineering’s shall rise up and purify the blizzards forums in holy fire with our QQ and frost grenades until you fix our profession.

I appreciate giving out info, but you're going to make WoW players collectively explode from the waiting. I'm serious. Given that Patch 2.3 isnt even on the PTRs yet, anyway.

Also, presumably there's some benefit other than "requires BC mats," like maybe reduced cost depending on a faction or on our skill?

I can understand that. But that's not what you objected to, is it? You were saying that they wouldn't do away with the 5000 gold requirement, so who cares, is that not what your post was getting at?

"That's fluff" is one thing, and a fair point, though subjective.

"I did not read what was written and am objecting on grounds which are disproven in the post I'm discussing" is quite another.

I like to think that by knowing this now I can collect lots of rare mats and farm XXXXg to buy expensive mats so when the flyer comes out I'm not caught with my robes down and running around like a gnomish battle chicken with it's head cut off.

I'd consider it an achievement that took a fair amount of time to get, but in the end i'd be awarded with an item that would make people's jaws drop.

Improved Repair Bot will send gold spent on repairs to the engineer who drops/crafted the bot. Engineering becomes the most lucrative profession in the game.
