...many engineers have finally had enough of that BS and gone to different professions now only the most hard core of us still continue on but we shall continue for we are the few, the proud, the engineers...

Nope.

I'm a relatively new engineer (picked it up a few months ago) and enjoy the profession. I'm not hardcore into it, but I have fun with the varous items the profession provides.

Ravasaur Trainer?

We still fully intend to implement Ravasaur training into the game but unfortunately, it isn't something currently slated until a later patch.

Glorious homage, Kanako, nicely done.

When you think about it, really, Engineers have a relationship with their profession which is paralleled by the players' relationships with the developers.

Engineers pay hundreds of gold and spend countless hours learning to make items which may well kill us when we use them.

/hug Palehoof at least someone understands. Its not the low lvl engineering’s that the problem that was fun it’s the lack of new stuff in BC that has so many engineers pulling out our hair in frustration.

Be warned blizzard retribution is at hand the engineering’s shall rise up and purify the blizzards forums in holy fire with our QQ and frost grenades until you fix our profession.

"Undocumented Patch Notes":

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
- Mana potion injector gained charges and flavor text: "They just dont make 'em like this anymore..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't really know what that means i don't make mana injectors because the schematic is to epensive in AH hopefully someone will be able to tell us.

Aye, add to your list of stuff that they did actually improve the mana and health potion injectors with this patch, so that it is always possible to keep a stack of 20 charges topped off.

Before, when it was a single charged item, you had to burn it down to nothing before you could refill that backpack slot to 20 again. Now, with injectors being individual items that stack in lots of 20, you can keep extras made in the bank and top off your stack at your convenience.

Alas, it still requires all the other ingredients to make the full stack of 20. I would have preferred a refill schematic that had fewer requirements. But this is acceptable.

I'm with you nuts. I may not blow stuff up on ole 'doch here, but my rogue is sitting at L38 and skill 300. It will be years before I get into the Outland with him, so I haven't experienced the Fizzle or the Reduced Effects. Engineering sub-60 is loads of fun, and damn useful.

But you got my support. It's shameful that so much utility has vanished for you guys post-60. Embarrassing that so little attention has gone into the end-skill levels of Engineering.

Q u o t e:
With the new patch 2.2 having come out and been given a slap in the face with the one thing we got was a 30 sec. cooldown on the Parachute Cloaks well other professions got new things to create or had old world stuff brought to outland /cry many engineers have finally had enough of that BS and gone to different professions now only the most hard core of us still continue on but we shall continue for we are the few, the proud, the engineers.

We shall not tire. We shall continue QQ to Blizz. We shall fight them in the profession forums and the main forums. We shall defend engineering whatever the cost; we shall fight them through the nerfs, the neglect, the fizzles, and the backfires. We shall never surrender. We will continue on and one day our profession shall once again rise to glory and make people lol as we let loose a whole new set of mechanical pets.

engineer since i started back when AQ had came out, it's always been interesting from the 4k death ray crits, to the exploding sheep, to the ability to mind control people... hehe those were good times, and although we've taken nerf after nerf, i just can't bring myself to quit it. Hell i love it so much i'm working on a goblin engineer. It's just those moments that make you go "WHAT HAS ENGINEERING DONE!?!?" that really make me proud to be an engineer.

Here's for the future of engineering

Kratth, gnomish engineer 375
Donquixano, goblin engineer 300

my only regret is i might not ever be able to get those old world schematics(dam you molten core >_<).

"you're no help", he told the troll. This was unfair. It was only a troll; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

They brought the old raid enchants to Outland for the enchanters this patch hopefully someone in blizzard will realize that we want our old world schematics brought to Outland to.

Ah I just wish I could make more of those great items. I'm only missing one Schematic from Molten Core, that silly accurate scope never dropped, but I'm always trying for more. I have 368 Engineering with a Gnomish Degree and 375 Blacksmithing in the plate mail making fashion. I've had such love for cratfting I keep trying for more and more! This also reminds me I need to get a few people to do AQ 20 for that shield....

I have no idea what you guys are complaining about. The stuff that you can make with engineering past 350 is amazing! Lets see, where do I begin? Well, there's the... hmm... um....fel... What the heck is there to make at 350? Nothing! Just a few stupid pairs of goggles that take a primal nether! Why can other professions make an epic without nethers and we have to use one? Should have taken up blacksmithing or something. Well, at least I'm not an alchemist (at least on this character) =)

*stands and salutes; rifle shouldered* Ma'am.

*ponders back to the infamous words some time ago from our former leaders claiming "I believe it is balanced engineering for our time" and how things have devolved into this desperate conflict since then.*

That is alarming. And I play a Gnomish Engineer Tauren whose whole family has been raised on Gnomish Engineering for three generations.

You remind me of one of my favorite instance conversations. You may have had it as well.

Engineer: "Don't pull that group yet, I want to try something."
Group leader: "Try what?"
Engineer: "I'll show you, it's neat, give me 20 seconds for cooldown."
Entire group: "Pull now, quick, for the love of all that's holy!"

And for your dedication, flying mounts for engineers only will be available in patch 2.3. There will be normal and epic versions of this mount for you to parade around and show how proud you are to have passed all the exams and call yourself an engineer.
