Will we ever see The corrupted ashbringer Storyline continued so PC's will get the weapon as uncorrupted? We know that it has been in the game since the beggining (or files since GM's once used to wear it). And whispered something of it at blizzcon but nothing said it if will be a PC weapon ever.

Also will thunderfury be upgraded to be a viable item for the future for 70 or 80 level content?

Maybe if they ever remember the Missing Diplomat and the Shady Rest Inn.

doubt players will ever get legendaries again...i know of many who didn't have the legendaries complaining that they were OPed :(

The only details we have is that we would like to continue the story of the Ashbringer in Wrath of the Lich King.

We also have no plans to upgrade Thunderfury or any other existing legendary items.

what I am more asking is will the son in outlands ever exist? Will it just go to an npc like blizzcon or the upcoming wow comics seem to state it does?

But the quest line claimed it would take you to someone in Outland... And it never did.

Wow. Must really suck for you to get a legendary item you can't have until two expansions.
