depoison too omg???

We do want to increase the utility of the Druid of a bit, which can be a little rough in their specialized forms, so we are also making Cure Poison and Abolish Poison usable in Tree of Life Form.

Q u o t e:

That's why you use cat form. Balance is just a badly designed elemental shaman

Elemental Shaman have less survivability in group pvp than Balance Druids do.
Elemental Shaman have more raid utility than Balance Druids do.
Elemental Shaman have equal dps to Balance.

They are pretty close to one another, yet each excels at something different. A Moonkin is more of a giant taunt that is meant to absorb damage and deal damage in PVP. An Elemental Shaman is more of a little taunt that is meant to kite and avoid damage and buff the group, and then burst a target when not focused. Essentially, their roles in PVE are the same just Elemental has more micromanagement.

Will itemization be addressed?

and also the new nerf to our dots (which wasn't really deserved *looks at warlocks*)

Any chance of have moonfire turrets implemented as one of the balance talents? It could work similarly to lightwell, except it spams moonfire on all nearby targets instead of healing people who touch it.

Manually clicking my moonfire hotkey over and over again is causing me to get carpal tunnel.

This wins my award for "Understatement Of The Year". It's like saying, "A screen door's usefulness is a little rough on a submarine."

THINGS THAT SHOULD BE USABLE IN FORMS THAT THEY ARE CURRENTLY NOT USABLE IN...

MOONKIN
1. Rejuvenate
2. Remove Curse
3. Abolish Poison
4. Cower

TREE OF LIFE
1. Abolish Poison
2. Cower
3. Remove Curse
4. Insect Swarm (Bzzzz! I'm infected with locust! Bzzzz!)

CAT FORM
1. Frenzied Regeneration
2. Barkskin

BEAR FORM
Fine as is.

The concept Blizzard had of a Druid happily swapping between forms on a constant, consistent basis in combat is dead. It never worked. It never did. Players swap in the following ways...
1. Moonkin to Caster and Back...
2. Bear to Cat and Back...
3. Tree to Caster and Back...

Players pick forms and STICK in them until the fight is over with the possible exception of the occasional 'drop out to heal' for Boomkin or 'Cat DPS to Tank' for Ferals. No other form of combat shifting has any inherent value (except to travel form in PvP).

Give up Blizzard and accept the reality. :) Druids AREN'T DESIGNED to constantly shift form. They are designed to pick a spec (only ONE!), pick a form, and STAY in that form except for very rare deviations for specific tactical purposes that are over in a split second.

Ergo - you need to make our DEDICATED FORMS that we CHOSE, GEARED, and SPECCED for as useful as possible.

The only think moonkin excel at is being a laughing stock, but even then they fail in that regard currently due to how bad retribution is.

Also you forgot that elemental shamans can stop a nuke and have more stam and resilience than balance druids. Its only against melee where moonkins have a advantage and w/ caster shields being added that gap is going to get a lot smaller.

Forget about Remove Curse.

How about Tranquility in Moonkin? Now THAT would be hot.

all spells castable in both tol and moonkin.

Couldn't be worse than anything paladin do.

60 hunter, 60 lock, 70 druid.
I want 2 things from my druid: 1, to be able to use forms frequently and effectively, and 2, and for that to be true in pve and pvp at a competitive performance level

would kill the class imo. not in terms of viability but in terms of its intended properties.

edit: i'l just repeat my previous concern:

do we get itemization improvements? in either/both pvp and pve

I am underwhelmed at this change. its nice but its meh. Doesn't help with PvP *much*, since most of the time in PvP you *dont* use moonkin form anyway.

We getting something meaty in the way of changes for moonkin? seriously. something good would be nice.

Blizzard killed that 'intended property' of Druids a long time ago. WoW is not a game that rewards a slow, measured, tactical form of combat where you wear your enemy down by attrition and flexibility. WoW is DESIGNED to reward simple, mindless, mono-directional FOCUS. To say that Druids 'should' be playing in this slower, less effective, less efficient manner is a romantic concept but in all practical terms is foolish. Blizzard didn't make the GAME so that method works. They made a game that rewards the OPPOSITE.

I'm not asking to allow Druids to use all their abilities in all their forms. But we shouldn't feel GIMPED in our forms either. Right now our forms carry as many liabilities as they do strengths and that is out of whack. They need to lift away some of these artibrary 'limitations' they have burdened our forms with so that shifting forms is a STRENGTH - not a weakness.

You know that feral are complete garbage in arenas compared to moonkin or resto right?

I assume if balance was going to get something substantial Blizzard would have made a post regarding the changes by now. Since they haven't mentioned anything other than relics and decurse in moonkin form thus far, I am inclined to believe that is the only real changes balance will be seeing in the next patch.

Both balance and feral are at around the same level of viability in arena imo.

Neither are a part of a major overpowered combo, but both are relatively viable if the player knows what he's doing.
