I'm glad you asked, we actually have some changes coming in 2.3 for Deadly Throw. The speed at which it travels is being increased significantly, so it will reach your target much faster, and the snare duration is being increased slightly. One second longer if I remember correctly. It will, however, no longer have the ability to trigger Ruthlessness.

With that Ruthlessness mention I'll elaborate that we'll be changing it so that Ruthlessness will only affect melee finishing moves as a whole.

good changes. the time it takes to reach people makes dt kinda weird atm.

i think this is a good thing since it wont play with casters mind so much but i think a flood of tears is coming your way.

when i first used the ability i figured it would silence on the throw and not the landing. after playing around with it i think the changes you guys are making is for the better.

Wow, actual useful information with actual numbers. That's a pretty big surprise from CMs.

Yeah, def. a buff to the pvp gloves. Its kinda silly to use the ability and then the cast gets off anyway.

A buff to deadly throw is all well and good, but deadly throw is not why our mobility is lacking in arenas. Do what someone posted in here and hundreds of other rogues have posted elsewhere and at least look at a change with sprint, reducing its duration significantly, but also its CD as well. Imp sprint should also be removed, applied to trainable sprint. To fill the gap int he talent tree, a talent could be added to allow you to retain snare/root immunity during the duration of sprint itself.

It's nice to see a Blue post, but I'm not confident that Blizzard is going to figure out how to make rogues viable in 5v5. It's hard to compete (in terms of usefulness to one's team) with a teleport on a short cooldown, a mostly nondispellable spammable snare, a mostly nondispellable Mortal Strike, and plate.
