Eyonix, there's hardly any piece of gear in itemization that lets us pick up spell damage or spell crit without directly sacrificing AP or melee crit for it. This wasn't the case pre-TBC with the PvP sets, but it is now.

You could bring up the argument of gems, but the direct tradeoff stands right there too. To be frank, hybrid specs would have been a lot more viable if we had hybrid gear for them.

On the other hand, INT and mp/5 are a lot more accessible since they're spliced into our 'tier' gear.

Global cooldown is 1.5 sec, except rogues & cat form which has a 1 sec cooldown.

Any chance we can get our global cooldown reduced to 1 sec, so that we can at least put down our totem a little faster ? :)

I don't want to say that you are dodging the offhand questions, but vague responses don't help the fact that offhand itemization for enh shaman is horrible.

just tell us SOMETHING is in the works, whether new options, upgraded non-wf weapon enhancements or wf/wf allowing for anything faster than 2.6.

Do you have any idea of whether Enhancement T6 is being looked at specifically? Right now it spends far too much of it's budget on mp5 which makes it inferior to the non-set rogue/hunter gear available in the same dungeons. It would be nice if our tier set were something to look forward to like they are for most other classes.

Honestly, I think I would actually shed a tear of joy if they changed this one little thing about Shaman in general.

First off, I'd like to thank both E and the Shaman community for being civil here. This is an excellent thread.

I know that you've stated that 2.3 is locked, is there any way we can see the patch notes for 2.3 soon? I know that the UI modifications have been posted already for 2.3, just hoping to see some love there as well.

While I agree that normalizing WF would help the itemization issues for Enhancement offhands, it really wouldn't solve the issue because of how it is designed to work atm. The offhand would still steal procs from the main hand which is what we are trying to avoid by going with two slow equal (or close to equal) speed weapons. One fix (which I don't believe will happen) would be to unlink the main hand cooldown from the offhand. But really I think a better solution would be to perhaps enable shamans to equip swords which would drastically increase our offhand options.
Even if you normalized, or unlinked the cooldowns, we are still generally going to go for the slowest weapons we can as they still provide the largest damage ranges for white damage which is 50% of our damage done.

Just a thought anyway.

Due to the 36% Windfury Dual Wield proc bug, unlinking the cooldowns is not an option, as this would bring double procs back.

Eyonix is there anyhting being done in regards to the majority of our spells being Nature based and with a simple silence etc we get shut down real hard???

E, i would like to thank you for the attention and feedback you are giving us today. This kind of thing has not happened in more than 12 months.

If i may point something silly, the ghost wolf graphic is still bugged with the shield floating by and a mace hanging out of out claws. This has been happening for a while now and shows the kind of love we have been receiving during this time.
