What are pure thoughts or even Kitty(druid) dps thoughts on their dps? Do you believe it is to high?

Yes I am hiding behind and alt, but I am in a top 25 world guild killed all hard modes except Alagaon 25. It seems that kitty DPS consitently tops the DPS chars as a HYBRID class. Plus they bring B-REZES and Intervates. They constantly out dps Rogues/Mages/Warlocks and Hunters. What are your guys thoughts? Do they need a slight nerf or do the other classes need a buff? This is assuming you are plaing with competent players of each class along with similiar gear. Don't give me this learn to play stuff. I want inputs please.

We are all in ilvl 230+ gear/weapons. So Scaling now dosen't apply, maybe in the future. Kitty's will whine, but I want to hear from others then just an onslaught of kittys. Even the ones in our guild laugh and agree. Don't get me wrong we wouldnt of got serveral hard mode kills without kitty's.

Feral DPS in PvE is too high at the moment; I'll admit it (I'm a feral in PvE who does strictly dps).

Here's how to lower it without making Ferals useless as a dps:

1) Lower Savage Roar's coefficient to 20% damage (down from 30%).
2) Put Rake back on Primal Gore (roughly a 6-8% damage increase for well geared ferals... less for ArP stackers).

Essentially, this lowers ALL damage by 10%, and increases raid damage by a theoretical maximum (100% crit, zero armor) of 8%, in most test cases it will be about 6% for well geared ferals who do not stack ArP, and about 5% for those who do (but this change will make them regem for agi rather than ArP). This is a net 5% reduction in output from a raid.

Of all the world-best parses, Ferals are tied with Rogues (or just below) in terms of output, and Blizzard wants Hybrids to be ~5% behind them... so a 5% damage nerf is in order.

I only hear that cats do more DPS from bad rogues as the main OP for sure is.
Weird is that Rogues don't care to be outdps by a DK or any other class , if they get outdps in one fight by a cat then omg is time to come and cry on the forums.

I appreciate the Feral Kitty DPS reply so far. I believe a 5% nerf is about correct. Just makes me kinda feel weird seeing them top the char on MOST fights plus if someone dies dont worry I can get them up plus hey I am out of mana don't worry I can intervate!

of course not. I'm sure your guild would LOVE to hear why a spec that's PROVEN to not scale worth beans should be tampered with.

For a class that can spec into 4 viable roles in pve, cat dps is too high. They should do no more dps than warriors. Warriors should be on par with DKs, although DKs are also a tad high atm.

Feral druids should do about the same dps as enhancement shaman. So whatever blizzard wants hybrids to be at, that should be the mark.

As far as melee dps goes... rogue > DK = Warrior > enh. shaman = feral druid = ret paladin

May seem arbitrary but fact is that enh. shaman, feral druids, and ret paladins bring more utility and they have more roles they can spec in pve. Ideally the various hybrids would have different encounters where they shine and can top the meters, but overall this would be the average ranking.
