I think this change sucks balls. the only part of this i think is good is that normal flying mounts will now be 150% which it should have been in the first place

i guess enough pallies complained enough to blizz to have them lower the lvls... again. well hey, why dont we just lower it to lvl 10, or will that be on the next patch after this one?

Although as a seasoned player I'm a liiiiittle bit irked having spent so much time with the old system, I still appreciate this. I've got a little alt that will enjoy being able to ride around at 100% ground speed.

As has most likely been stated already (but I still want to voice it to drone out all the arguing):

Will class specific mount quests (i.e. warlock and paladin quests) be lowered in level to complete in order to ease it for players at level 40? I'd -love- to have my epic dreadsteed on my warlock, but I fear that hitting level 60 after having already acquired a mount at level 40-something might dull my willingness to do the quest :\ I understand that rescripting entire quests may be out of the question and be considered a -dramatic- change, but mount changes in themselves are (IMO) dramatic.

I heard you don't get to see content when blazing by at 60% or 150% speed.

Other than that... nothing. Mounts don't get you XP quicker, you still gotta do quest chains and/or instances.

Blizzard I hope you refund people that have multiple 80' alts with epic flying skills their money back because I spent about 42K gold alone between 6 lvl 80's with all epic flying skill so a refund would be nice for the people who worked to get their mount money now that you have nerfed it yet again for the causal players!

I welcome this change with open arms. Getting players into Northrend must be Blizzard's number one priority. Wasting hours walking around in 60-WoW can be excruciatingly boring. Also, most players arrive in Outland at 58 or 60 so they should be able to grab a mount right away. My soon to be level 40 rogue is very happy.

I'm alright with these changes. I wouldn't say that this cheapens the game or makes it easier. Newbies are still going to have to fight mobs and quest to level up, only the downtime between those is reduced. In fact it was the long wanderings between those that almost made me leave when i first started.

This is WoW not a hiking simulator, get over it.

1st: There has been nothing EPIC about getting a mount since the introduction of the "daily" quest in late Vanilla.

2nd: I heard 20 levels is hard nowadays. Oh wait, maybe 2 expansions ago.

We have no plans of offering in-game gold refunds on item costs to compensate for this content change, as has always been our policy.
