I like how all these months vindication remained the same for months and then all of a sudden BOOM, MORE hotfix nerfs

PVE damage increased? nope
the ret tree getting point reduction and nothing added in prot, what happened to when they were "discussing" adding dps via prot talents so we didnt have the 11 points of nothing to increase our dps on?
PVP utility added? nope
PVP burst reduced? nope

My ret doesn't pick up Seal of Command since a long time.

Now another 2 points to spend in another tree. Sooner or later it will be reasonable to pick up Reckoning and Sacred Duty on prot tree. lol

Q u o t e:

The talent was retarded end of story. Knocking down someones HP/MP pool that much because you managed to touch them was retard. That proc coupled with an MS effect was redic. Ret arent good in high end? what? The proc is still going to be like a permanent demo shout that also reduces crit chance. Making HP pools smaller led to more gibs.

All you people who just rolled ret and walked up to them and expressed your skill all over their face while they sat in a stun, it is laughable that you find this change unfair or drastic.

Permanent demo shout? Pull your tongue off the window and quit licking it. MS is a permanent debuff. This one can be dispelled. As I said in a post on the DD forums, the hot fix should have been moving it deeper down the ret tree. This is just a garbage fix to something that was only a problem cause HOLY paladins had access to it.

I have been ret since pre-bc and after all this time we are still the poster child for QQ and instant hotfixes, more than any other class. And if it was to good coupled with MS they could always have MS overwrite it on a target, but again I guess doing anything more than 2 lines of code, or trying to work on a problem rather than listen to a bandwagon is to much to ask.

I think what is sad is, that I had rarely if ever seen a vindication post until the other day, and I browse these, AJ and EJ forums daily. Then all of a sudden there are 20 page posts about how OP it is, and with a talent that has been in existence for a couple years now, then there is suddenly a "hot fix." Please... If that isn't proof you listen to forum QQ I dunno what else could be.

I was ret, before ret was cool. Pre-BC Baby! Reckoning bomb anyone?

Q u o t e:
It punished you for getting more stamina, it was stupid.

Everyone at Mlg agreed with it and was talking about it.
I can hit for 3-5k crits "depending on buffs" The health vindication took away was usually less then that. So there was no change, the power of the stamina reducer was the fact that the health it took away was "unhealable" health. It doesn't effect an average dpser with no self heals or a healer at all. You'll see no difference.

What? Vindication still reduces stats like strength by 20% it's still powerful.

Well that freed up two talent points. Now to find out where to put them.

The only usefulness I found in it was assisting me in attempting to kill healers and healed targets (which ironically it still wasn't enough probably 90% or more of the time.)

Not like I needed it to kill any other non-healer (or someone who isn't being healed). So now it just made healers that much more dominate against Rets. Hooray.

Not sure why the rest of you would be cheering, since you're still going to die without heals, Vindication or not.

While this change may have been needed. I want to know why it couldn't wait until all of the changes they have for our spec in 3.2. Rets still have zero depth to their rotation and this is just another bandaid fix to a much larger problem that they have shed zero insight as to how they are going to solve.

Thank you blizzard ...

In other words you find it in your best interest to eliminate Ret from the arena bracket as quickly as possible. Trash company listening to trash players, Why with Ret is it always a hotfix for any other class it's ok to let them dominate an entire arena season?

Increasingly it felt like someone playing against a Ret-Pally really only had 60% of their health bar because Vindication took away 20% from the start and then Hammer of Wrath kicked in when they had 20% left. This change was something we could confidently hotfix and would have a minimal to no impact on the PvE side of things.

Q u o t e:

On a Warlock with Demonic embrace it reduced 4k of my health, that is not cool.
My hit will do that much, unless you somehow healed yourself back to full it won't effect you. It's power is the fact that the health it took away was unhealable no heals no difference.

So guy, how do we kill druids or other non-retarded classes at high brackets since you only focused on scrub brackets.
