Not to be rude, but did you guys change the coloring of the Night elf bears? Because I don't see a Violet Bear on the bottom left. It does have a green mane, but it honestly looks more brownish/pink. And I don't see a blue bear on the top left, though it does have a dark mane. To me it looks almost violet almost brown, but not blue.

I think the night elf pictures on their site are rendered with pinkish-purple light sources.

Dammit, the ones associated with my purple hair suck.

Looks like i have to switch to white or dark blue.

Looks like im going light brown. I love the bottom left cat but the top left bear is so plain :(

Wow, the Tauren one took a long time... I decided to label them because I don't think all the colors really came through well with the head/shoulder shots I was using. Also I know I used Taurens in Warrior garb...a lot of the coloring seemed to be in the shoulders which are covered in Druid garb.

What I noticed on the new forms was the pattern on their face, I thought it would be really nice if the pattern your druid had on his or her face was the same face pattern on the druid form.

Holy overly-complicated system, Batman.

I can't even imagine how many newbies are going to be running around going "WOW! How'd you get that? How do I get it? Tellmetellmetellmetellme" and then with a bunch of follow up questions regarding how confusing the whole thing is.

Indeed it would be nice if the dev's could put some sort of "forms dressing room" graphic up while you're at the barber. Shouldn't be too hard, split the current dressing room window in two, throw in cat/bear graphics for each skin and you have a perfectly understandable system.

Probably could do something similar at character creation.

Once again all a matter of do you have the time.

I think you'll see certain tones that may not be as apparent in the screen shots come out more in-game, especially with the night elf forms where there are very subtle variations in tone throughout each cat and bear model to give them that Darnassian look. :)

Blizz we are going to need much better NE bear and cat pics as your description of colour doesn't relate to what I am seeing in the current pics in a lot of cases.

Bear
Top left - you see Blue with dark mane, I see dark brown bear with darker mane
Top middle - you see white, I see a sort of tan
Top right - you see red with blue mane, I see brown with black mane
Bottom left - you see purple with green mane, ok I can sort of see this.

Cat
Top right - you see blue with dark mane, I see greenish sort of colour with dark mane
Far left - you see indigo with light mane, I cant make out what its supposed to be but indigo to me is deep blue with a hint of purple
Top left - you see a white cat, I see a white cat with a pink mane
Middle - you see a purple cat, I see a mauve cat with purple mane


Now obviously you must have access to considerably better pictures that you have provided us so share please.

(either that or my laptop and pc screens are both completely stuffed)

just be patient and experiment with it once the ptr comes out. or just wait for somebody else to do it and inevitably put it up on youtube.
