Extract that DLL into your World of Warcraft folder. Note that if AVG is still running, it may quarantine this file again.
The purpose of this file is that it's a quick link to the file. You don't have to run the Repair utility and wait until it scans everything. It won't fix your AVG problem because there's nothing wrong with fmod.dll.
If there's an update on the AVG situation, I'll post it here. Currently it's detecting fmod.dll incorrectly as a trojan. That means it'll find that this fmod.dll as a trojan.

So, this isn't a Trojan than? Because it keeps coming up as one.
Edit: Nevermind, it says it's incorrectly detecting it as a Trojan. Read the whole post FTW LOL.

I've extracted the .dll to the WoW folder and still that game didn't work. I tried turning off AVG, but that didn't get WoW started either. Am I doing it wrong?

Some people found that emptying their temp folders fixed it. Go to Start -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup to do this.

Q u o t e: This still doesnt work. It still shows as a Trojan virus. Is there anything else you guys can do?
We don't recommend uninstalling or disabling an antivirus to play the game. AVG is working on a definition update that will correct this problem. Until then, it's up to you to do what you want to do.

Well, got the detection from AVG, figured it was linked to Omen mod I just dl'd the other day. Healed the file, tried to open wow, couldn't open no fmod.dll... uninstalled wow, reinstalled wow, hour and a half later tried to start wow, AVG found same issue, realized it had to be AVG not WoW... Checked forum and confirmed my suspition... Tempted to turn off AVG and refrain from traveling to websites I haven't been to and uping the restriction on cookies. AV-GG =X
