Which is what we should have looked like from day one instead of a lazy cut-and-paste from the wyvern model. Some of these threads make me wonder if anyone's seen an actual lion before. Our new catform looks awful lion-like to me.

You ARE aware that the models are still the same, but one has horns and the other has ears, right?

Yes, tauren get a bear necklace and cat nosering, but the Nelf cat is going to have the same "elongated face" and "marshmallow paws".

Have you ever looked at a real big cat's paws? They're huge and fluffy, and since the claws retract they're a lot less menacing than the new cat form model. Observe:

As for the elongated face and braids/wristlets/tribal paint/nose ring, yes, they do make them look more like Tauren. That's by design. It's not really a cat, it's a tauren that looks like a cat. I personally think Blizzard did a fantastic job with these models, but then again anything but the wingless wyvern look would have probably gotten the same reaction out of me.

My main complaint about the new catform, is that it doesn't still have saber-teeth.

I think for the most part, it looks really good. But I've grown too accustomed to the saber-teeth, and it looks somehow... odd... without them.

EDIT: The strange part is, if you look close at their mouths, you can see that the canines have even been repositioned outside of the normal jawline, which was normal for sabertoothed tigers. All that is missing is that the model on the teeth be elongated :/

It almost looks like, our tauren catform has been de-fanged.
