For what it's worth, Resto shamans are often listed as the healer that can run out of mana. -Ghostcrawler

Could we start such a thread in the Paladin forums? I know a lot of Ret paladins are rather concerned about yet another retooling of our spec to soothe the masses. Lots of us have questions about the direction we are going and the Dev team's thoughts on our spec. Sorry for the OT post.

If you take a look at the thread I have linked in the Q&A here, you'll see we have a schedule in mind and plan to get around to all of the classes at some point over the upcoming weeks. Don't worry.
In the meantime, you can feel free to post as you like there and start up some discussion threads that you can reference when we do post there. That might help a bit.

Thank you baby jesus.
I have somethings I would like to point out.
- Elemental gear? I feel like it is almost impossible to gear up this spec. It doesn't help that rings are almost impossible to find, & the ones we want are the BIS for other classes who use spirit. Its painful when someone wins a spirit ring, then in the same instance jacks the signet of manifest pain (for example) (this implies with resto shaman as well) (Also conquest vendor or emblem vendors in general are all catered to resto shams)
- Resto shams. Why is our aoe heal have so many more limitations then others which heal for much more. Also, why is our regen terrible, and only good for single target healing. I honestly could go on for an hour on this so I wlil stop. Just please take a look in to resto shams for pve.
- Totems. I will just end it right there.
- Draeni. I am not even sure if thats how you spell this race, and frankly I don't care, I can't stand them, but its the only alliance that can be a shaman.
- Bloodlust. Can we give this to another class inreplace of cool unique fun buffs?

Q u o t e:
Shamans will win this race by a landslide without a doubt.
Its not a race, but it goes to show that there are so many shaman that are upset with the state of the class. I think everyone is posting in hopes that they can make a difference in the class.

I'd like to ignore the PVP aspect of shaman for a bit, mostly because pvp is a secondary aspect of the game that we are lackluster in at best. we are also lackluster in PVE and this makes the game unbearable.

I completely agree. Let's figure out the nuts and bolts of the PvE game first. PvP is a whole other can of worms, and when people say PvP they mean Arena, which is even more complicated.

I wouldnt say that pvp is a secondary aspect anymore. It used to be but now alot of people do lots of arenas and then turns into bgs etc etc. We lackluster in both I would agree but I wouldnt agree to ignore the pvp aspect of it atm.

Maybe knock out two birds with one stone but PVP shouldnt be ignored by no means. As much as everyone has been posted the last few days, PVP is as important as PVE whether people agree or not.

Its a matter of viewpoint
sure the content is cool to run, but bosses and wiping gets old. I would rather have fun killing people.
PvP is the only real reason I play the game, PvE is secondary.
who really cares about balance in PvE, as long as the job gets done and everyone has a good time
Now PvP its a different story, where balance is key to the success. the game really becomes significantly more frustrating and less enjoyable when one class completely dominates another and skill plays no part.
If anything they should balance the game around PvP rather than PvE

Exactly. As I said before maybe they can give us a certain buff that would benefit PVE and PVP and hopefully alot of attention to the PVP :(
