Making gold in this game is hard.

It is a lot easier to make money on the AH when there are people who get lots of gold from non-AH sources, like daily quests. Do you really think that you could make that much money on the AH without people having gold burning a hole in their pocket? Dailies make it easy for anyone to realize that it can be faster to buy something for 15 minutes worth of dailies instead of grinding for 30 minutes.

Its a parasitic relationship. I have not turned my last faction quest in so I can keep getting the free 26 gold.

"Great" source? No, it's a convenient source. It's not a great source. It's 26g "free" gold a day. That's pocket change in Northrend.

Costing? It doesn't "cost" me anything to lose these dailies. I can still do 25 dailies a day and get the max amount of gold from them. I lose nothing, except maybe need to spend an extra 5-10 minutes doing another daily or two. I don't even do 25 dailies a day. I've done that maybe twice since dailies have existed. I'm still not worried about the loss of 26g per day. It's not that much.

This is why blanket statements are bad. You play 24/7 and want the dailies back. I don't play 24/7 and don't care about the dailies. Does it negatively impact me in some way for you or anyone else to desire to have them? Nope. So keep them. Don't turn in that last quest. If you already did, sorry but you aren't losing much. If you'd like to, go ahead and try to get them back. I think it's a waste of effort, but if you want to do it, go ahead. :)

Most of you are missing the main point here: It doesn't matter if people lose 1g or 200g, 1 quest or 4. This is bad design. It rewards people for artificially keeping the quests instead of turning them in. It will be changed. I don't know what it will be changed to but one way or another it will be changed.

2 worthless titles and some worthless points don't hold up to anything with actual in-game value regardless of how easy it is to make gold. It's not exactly hard to get titles either after all. Up to 23 (I think) and counting (but not really).

When Blizz starts seeing that many players would rather stockpile Valiant marks than turn them in for the end reward, I expect they'll patch it.

25 dailies is all you get. If you have a group anyway for Chillmaw, do the airship ones for twice the gold. Seems like a good substitute.

Just make your alts do the tournament. It'll last "forever" that way. Personally, doing the same thing over and over just makes my short attention span brain go catatonic. I want new stuff to do.

My priest is gonna be the pet mule - pets for my main and pets for trading with the hordies.

Oh yeah, titles ftw, I currently ahve 25 or 26, not sure which. heh big popup menu. And i'm still missing a ton too. I still don't have any of the LK raider titles, just my BC titles hand of adal and champion of the naaru. But Current guild was just incapible of sarth+3 on any level, undying, immortal. Would be nice to get those for a round 30 though ;)

Who's crying? I don't care about not getting a 24th and 25th title I won't use. Just joining in on making the observation that the current end "reward" for the tourney gives you absolutely nothing of value (beyond the aesthetic) and instead diminishes your daily quest options.

I intend to enjoy it while it lasts, only now that I have seen this thread, it will last longer than the few more days I needed to finish up Crusader.

If titles are your thing, good for you. Turn in your last 25. I don't really see the need to convince others to think the same way as I do.

Do you understand what "time efficiency" is? Not all of us have 3 hours a day to devote to 25 dailies. Running around to three different quest locations for dailies results in a lot less gold than picking up the same quest twice in one town (Argent Tourney).
