The world of Azeroth is filled with those little touches that make it come alive. Whether it's the critters hopping through the grass or the small details such as the signs on buildings, these details make the world seem more lived in. What areas or special touches do you enjoy most?

Hands down, all the little skulls and stuff in the old-world Scourge instances.

Oh hey, a first!

I always enjoyed seeing the large tower in Westfall from a distance.

Blackrock mountain, oh how I miss her.

Specifically the lone black drake that flies around.

I really love Duskwood. The whole feel of the zone is creepy and silent. The layout is a little long, but every alt I have ever made has done his time there and loved all the quests.

I love the ambiance of all the level 80 scourge mobs that don't drop anything in Icecrown. The sheer magnitude of them is quite an epic feeling, a force to be reckoned with.

The hero no one has been waiting for.

Lately it was in Grizzly Hills, where the patrolling bears would sometimes go to the edge of the river, catch a fish, and eat it.

Also, 100x this:

I "loved" the idea of Stitches attacking Duskwood at the end of the Embalmer quest; I would love
to see more instance of creatures interacting with the town.
