I can't track any achievements or quests. I checked on an alt who has not been played in months/years and it happens on him as well as my mains.

Tested with addons and without addons, same result either way:

"You don't have space to track any more objectives, stop tracking some first."

No achievements or quests were tracked previously.

I am having this same issue on my account. At first I tried just turning all my addons off. Then I deleted my addon folder completely AND my WTF folder and went from scratch on both. Still can't track quests on any toon on my account. Going to try creating a totally new toon on a new server and see if that toon can make use of the new tracking stuff.

I had the same problem and fixed it this way:

- Locate the file %PATHTOWOW%\WTF\ACCOUNTNAME\RealmName\CharName\Layout-local.txt

Replace the relevent bits of that path with your own specifics.

- Open the file in Notepad or Wordpad.

- Look for any references like: "Frame: QuestFrame" and "Frame: QuestLogFrame"

- Remove the 6 lines pertaining to those frames.

- Restart WoW.

This is one of those YMMV things, and to be careful, so make a backup copy before you start playing.

I managed to get it to work by just unchecking and rechecking all the quest-related check-boxes in the Interface > Objectives menu.

That seemed to fix it...

Turns out my issue with this was the addon Mappy :(

I like mappy, i hate the default map, but this was also the reason questhelper stopped workign for me too.

ok maybe i'm half right, mappy was the reason why questhelper wasn't working, but it's not the reason why i am still getting these can't track any more objectives thing.

I don't have any of those lines. :( The only thing with "Quest" in it is "NxQuestList" from Carbonite, which was not installed when this started happening.

I'll try that. ^^

This worked great for me, thanks!

I have many max-level (and nearly-so) characters. If you'd like to know who they are for any reason, don't be afraid to ask.

Didn't work. Tried doing it without closing the window and with closing it in between and even reloading in between. :(

I did this and moved my minimap to the top of my screen.. seems to have fixed it on the two characters I've been on tonight. I did a reload between disabling and enabling the check boxes, also. Neither fix seems to work alone, it took doing both. It also stops working if you move the minimap back down to the bottom again.

I am having this issue as well, tried the fixes here and none of them have worked.
The only quest mods I use are lightheaded and Bayi's Extended Questlog. Even with a fresh interface and wtf folders I still get this error.

Experiencing the same issue with and without mods running. I've tried the fixes posted in this thread and none have worked.

I use CT_Core to eliminate the arrows and use scroll wheel on chat windows. I noticed that when my minimap was moved above the bottom 1/3 of my screen i could track quests ok, but if i moved it down into the bottom 1/3 of my screen it would give me the error that i was tracking too many quests. I noticed that when i did track a quest the region that displayed the quest objective seemed to be positioned based on my minimap (always below it) and i remembered that CT_Core use to have an anchor option for the quest tracker... i looked at CT_Core and that option was gone. It appears to have just been attached to the minimap (below it) and if you move your minimap to the bottom of the screen where the quest tracking region is below 1/3 of the screen you get the error. You can test this for yourself. Once i turned off CT_Core and went back into the game i could move the minimap anywhere and the quest tracking region would stay center of the screen about 1/3 of the way from the bottom. It's position was not attached to the minimap anymore. I was able to track quests with no problem from that point on.

I think this is a CT_Core issue with the new version that i just downloaded the other day. Try it for yourself.. if you use CT_Core (from the CT_Raid package) you probably will have the same experience.

I'll post on their forum as well. Hope this helps others.

Thanks guys!

Make this a macro, and click it:

/script WatchFrame:SetHeight(400)
/script WatchFrame_ClearDisplay()
/script WatchFrame_Update(WatchFrame)

Should help~ The 400 in the first line is equal to how big the frame will be. Make it as big/small as you want(If you get the error again after tracking a certain amount of quests, make it bigger).

Alright here is the issue.

The objects are locked to your minimap, so basically if you have your minimap at the bottom of your screen (like me) it won't work.

Move your mini map around and you can see how the objective tracking locks to it.

Moving the minimap to the top right didn't work for me, nor did any of the other fixes.

Are you using the Advanced Quest Tracker when you get these errors, or do you get these errors with the standard quest tracker?

The standard is probably based on the minimap location. The Advanced tracker, though, creates it's own independent window that can be moved to pretty much anywhere you want to put it.
