Now that the new patch is here, do you have advice to share on the best talent spec to run for your class? Have you learned some new tricks for maximizing your abilities? Share them here.

Here are some examples of guides players have been posting on the forums-

Fury

Arms

And, spec Prot (Preferably my spec),
hate Mimiron and ignis they are buggy though we have downed ignis
hate Fury 10% turned into a 1200 DPS nerf,
Lastly Arms TfB is awesome just wish MS got a damage bump like scourgestrike

/target Blizzard
/Facepalm

Ok offnote: did you remove all those posts Neth?

To be honest, I'm gutting it out as Fury spec. However, the more I read about Arms, the more I think I'll be giving it a try this week during our raids.
Titan's grip was a lot of fun, but seeing my damage drop as significantly as it did makes me feel like I'm not pulling my weight during raids. I don't need to top the charts, but I'd like to have numbers of which I'm not ashamed.
As far as tricks for maximizing, I tend to look to some of the more respected members of the warrior forum community. I'll follow their posts for advice and check their armory for gear, spec & glyph help.

Not that I'm complaining about seeing a blue posting in the warrior forums, but doesn't this contradict Blizzard's stance on the warrior forum, after the creation of the class role forums?

Prot is, at long last, comparable to the other tanks.

If you have problems now as a warrior tank, you need to think about another role.

Blizzard to Warriors:

It may appear as though we are pissing on your foreheads, when in fact it is just raining.

Q u o t e:

Arms is by far the best raiding spec if you have a more restricted resource for weapons and if you want to bring the most to your raid on a more personal level, but it's always been that way.

Fury can still be competitive however the gear dependancy is huge. If you don't have "x" hit or "x" crit you're running into a brick wall getting nowhere.

Maximizing abilites?

If by that you mean the complete revamp of Armor Penetration then sure. Armor Pen has become (once again) a fairly valuable stat for any Arms Warrior (less so for a Fury Warrior). At a certain gear level you have a choice to make between Armor Pen and Strength.

The majority of Warriors will stick with what they know (Strength) however with the gear choices given to us in Ulduar there is that certain point where the SEP for Armor Pen becomes just flat our better than that of Strength, Hit, Crit.

New tricks?

Learn the rotation for either DPS spec and live by it. In order to maximize any role you should be able to have a set rotation yet still have the mind to change it depending on your circumstance (environment around you) of your particular raid.

The difference between Arms and Fury is as big as it is small in some situations.

The "better" Warriors out there in the community will be able to excel at both DPS specs, regardless of nerfs, buffs, whatever. Play whatever fits your playstyle, become comfortable with it and you'll do fine.

Nethaera, if you were/are looking for more informative posts regarding certain specs I had taken the liberty of compiling a "guide" as it were pertaining to Arms as well;
