Did the cooking daily in Dalaran change so you need to be a higher level to complete? I have been doing them for awhile and now all I get is the silver !

Same problem on my 75 hunter. I have almost 50 cooking tokens and I logged in to do my cooking daily and was greeted with an indifferent NPC and a giant silver exclamation point. Where did my quest go?

Yes, it appears that is the case as my 450 lvl cooker can no longer get the quest. I can't seem to find a reference to this change in the bloated patch notes, which discusses EVERYTHING else in exhaustive detail and mentions several level requirements.

This sucks. My rogue went from level 70 to level 72 1/2 just from cooking and jewelcrafting dailies. And I don't feel like leveling him :(

It looks like it changed for Alliance, but not Horde. I tried with every character of mine who has done the dailies previously, and here's what I've got:

I posted in the Bug Reports forum and submitted an in-game ticket. I'll post again if I find anything out.

Don't know about the cooking, but I can say the JC does not work now. I've been doing the JC dailies for about the last week with this character, and then the big silver "!". BAH!

I'm unable to do the cooking on my lvl 75 human DK, but am still able to do the JC daily (skill of 434).

You have got to be kidding. I worked my night-elf butt off to get to do the dailies. I did one on Monday log in on Wednesday and Nothing!! I dont see why they did this. Shattrath dailies are level based and Dalaran dailies are skill based. What could be the problem.

I did both the cooking and the JC daily on this 77 priest earlier today. Perhaps the cutoff is 76 then?

Maybe they just hate nelfs, humans, and dwarves?

I've had cooking of 450/450 since level 73, been workin on Chef, have 44/50 Dalaran cooking awards....and now the daily is silver. Frustrated is the least of it...!

This makes NOOO SENSE! The meat required for these quests (when it 's listed as an ingredient) is are only level 70 kills...

I've been doin this daily for 44 days already on my own w/no problem, (since lvl70) why the hell raise the level requirement?

and WHAT is the level requirement now? No one seems to know, and I've seen no one but 80's gettin Katherine Lee's quest....

This is bad...very bad...and there's no reason for it.

I'm 1 award away from gettin the Fish Feast recipe.....I was gonna get it yesterday. Dang.

(and this is my main, got nothin higher, this has to be a bug, gonna get out my unending breath spell and wait, bliz had so many other issues right now they prob just havent gotten around to this 1)

I have a level 73 Undead DK. I am unable to receive the Dalaran cooking daily, so not all Horde are eligible apparently. I've been doing this quest regularly for well over a month. Nice enhancement! If this was intentional, Blizzard was too ashamed to even add it to the patch notes.

Level 76 Belf. Cooking at 396. Been doing dailies for some time but now suddenly can't. Bah!

Been doing them since lvl 65 and the minimum cooking reqirement. Now I'm lvl 80 w. 420-430 cooking(that range, forgot exact number) and can't do them, so wtf, I want that hat!

I didn't get the chance to check the day the patch came out to see if I could do the cooking quest, but I was unable to the day after. I'll check tomorrow again, and see if I still can't.

I've heard reports that it's being bumped up to level 80 only. There's also been a whole lot of confliction in this though, as some people below 80 are able to do it on their Horde characters but not alliance characters, and vice versa, while others are able to on both sides.

I was able to pick up the Blood Jade Amulet JC daily, though, which has me wondering just what's going on.

this is what annoys me...

Cheese for Glowerend quest (have to go and collect 6 glasses of wine and a chunk of cheese in dalaran) no meat required no leaving dalaran required just run around the wine shop and inn and collect stuff...

71 troll priest 450 cooking cant do
70 undead warlock 411 cooking cant do
80 Blood Elf Paly 450 cooking can do
80 undead death knight 450 cooking can do

since my priest has max cooking and cant do it i guess it but be level based but that stupid cause she has been doing it ever day practically since wotlk came out and what i dont understand is the fishing daily that is in dalaran ever single one of those characters can do even though

Glowfish Quest: Have to go fish in river's heart in scholazar basin (level 74 to 77 mobs area) for rare suckerfish eat it and then return to chick in dalaran...

why on earth would you put in a new daily that anyone can do no matter skill or level (above 70 i believe) and change a quest everyone has always been able to do since beginning of expansion so that they can not do it anymore?????
