Are there any plans to increase the size of the backpack to 20 slot or higher with the next xpac? I tote a lot of junk around and wouldn't mind a few extra slots.

Yes. But four of the spaces are taken up by reinforcing trusses, and as such, are not shown.

We're mindful of space concerns, and increasing the base backpack size is certainly a possibility for the future. We have other space and storage increases currently in the works for release before Wrath though, and we'll be talking about those soon™.

Things have been pretty hectic at work. I've been trying to muscle through, but it's tough work to keep things in line both here and at work.

There have been many great space saving suffestions on the suggestions forum. I hope you guys read that forum, because it sure feels like the blues pay about as much attention to the suggestions forum as they do the paladin forum.

My old 4 slot coinpurse is way more than enough storage, even for a hunter.

Will some of these changes involve pinning the hearthstone inside your shirt and placing the Shaman totemsoutside the pack where they would be easier to get to when we need them?

I never understood why you couldn't replace your Backpack. I think it's completely reasonable to let players replace the default Backpack with 18+ slotters.

The mod & UI panel at blizzcon mentioned that they were looking to add "itemrack" type functionality to the core UI and made a tantalizing statement of "except we might actually have somewhere to put that extra gear".
My guess would be a system like DII, where you could have multiple weapon configurations that you could swap. If everyone got essentially 2 of each gear slot, thats a LOT of bag space saved.
