I'm sure the official isn't, and i'm sure that if i download it from any other place it won't be a hack, but if i download it from a non official site the pacth can come with a virus.
I just want a gm to provide me a link to the downloader so i can download it. I don't know why mine didn't start.

If you launched WoW and didn't notice the downloader start up -- there is a good chance your download is stalled at 0%.

When the Blizzard launcher opens (depending on how your security setting are set up), Vista won't let it actually begin downloading without your permission. If you don't give it permission -- Vista assumes you're not at the computer and defaults to blocking the download.

Close the stalled downloader and restart it (either by finding the launcher program in you WoW folder, or by closing WoW and restarting -- this time, wait for the downloader to start before logging in and give it permission to go).

Have you tried going into your WoW folder and running it manually?

And it's not the CMs' job to fix technical issues.

Do you launch from the WoW Launcher or the .exe file? If you launch the direct .exe file, or you use a program like WoWMatrix, it may not launch the downloader.

Also, blues are a lot less likely to respond to you if you're rude to them. Just, you know, FYI.

/sigh Mine's been attempting to download this monster for 3 days. It gets halfway through then... stops. Every time.
