I've been wanting to make a gnome healer since day Nov 23rd 2004. Please make it happen so I can form an all gnome guild.

Dude, it's Bornakk. He's fairly cool. I don't see him as trolling, per se, more just being a good poster.

When he isn't posting in threads that draw his interest, he provides good information.
I know, and most of the time he's funny or whatever. Sometimes he goes over the line. But yeah, he's trolling here, albeit for laughs. You don't think he really believes what he's saying, do you?

THIS is what they're afraid of!

"Wait a second... we're not going to Guam, are we?"
"You know him?" "Yeah... he's the man who killed me."
"It's, uh, Horace. He's got dynamite, and he's blowing up trees."

Me thinks Bornakk is a tad Biased on the subject.

Goblins make people explode. Gnomes are far more diabolical. They make the world bigger or create evil twins of themselves or turn people into chickens!

Oh, come on. Do you really care if the tank looks like a chicken as long as he's alive and tanking?

I support Gnome Healers! (Or the implimentation of them I should say)
Priest, Paladin, Shaman, or Druid...I'd roll any one of them so fast it would break the sound barier!(sp?)
And delete several of my Highlevels just to do so.
I love the Gnomes!

It's simple: there's two means of healing, nature and via the light.

Gnomes are obviously not intuned with nature, so that's out.

And the Light has a height requirement, so that's out too.

And the gnome healers in Gnomeregan are actually dwarves and humans mutated into gnomes by the radiation.

Why gnomes shouldn't heal.

potential side effects of gnome "healer":

Irradiation: Player turns green, and starts melting, taking 5% HP in damage every second and reducing armor by 50%.

Mutation: Player becomes gigantic and can wield two additional weapons for 3 minutes, whereupon the player promptly dies.

Emasculation/Defemination: Player is switched to the opposite gender. Effect ends upon death.

Mass Destructification: Target of the heal is blown up, and all players and enemies within 20 yards of the target take 100,000 fire damage and an ongoing 2% of their maximum HPevery second for 30 second.

In my fevered nightmares I have pictured a hero class, the Mekgineer, that could fire medicine-filled bullets at allies to heal them and lob holy hand grenades for aoe heals. They had a robot pet, the OOX-09 Defenestrator, that ran around healing people by stabbing them with healing injectors. If ever there was a gnomish healer, that would have to be it. Maybe I just need more sleep, though.

I don't think that gnomes are capable of repairing anything, they are pretty good at screwing things up. Just my guess, I think I saw a post that was something along that line.
