I posted this in the ptr forum as a bug report/question, going to repost it here, see if I can get a solid response from our favorite dev

Apparently they've added Mr. Pinchy and Old Crafty to the One That Didn't Get Away fishing achievement, but they didn't add Old Ironjaw (bug?)

Question is, is Mr. Pinchy retroactive? Meaning, I caught him, used his wishes, and got the Crawdad pet as poof but I didn't get credit for the One That Didn't Get Away for catching Mr. Pinchy.

I deleted my Old Ironjaw/Crafty a while ago, do you get credit for them if they are in your inventory? Seeing as all 3, Crafty/Ironjaw/Pinchy, are BoP, you SHOULD get credit for them. Bop = I didn't buy this from the AH

Yea -- I really hope that they can retroactively award this, based on achievements. >.>

Seriously. I got the achievement for pinchy and crafty/ironjaw, no reason they shouldn't be right?

The Baby Coralshell Turtle was initially supposed to be a rare northrend catch. It was part of the achievement in WotLK beta, but the turtle was never implemented, either in beta or live. During a later part of beta, the turtle was removed from the achievement.

I think this is linked to whatever is causing many other achievements to be reverted to their beta states (Supposedly Veteran Nanny had been readded to the meta when the PTRs first came up, since been corrected).

According to http://www.elsanglin.com/northrend_daily_quests.html the hat will also be available from the Northrend Fishing daily :)
Along with new fishing poles, a new crab pet, lures, and a bunch of other rewards!

They were originaly on the list "way" back in Beta, so I'm assuming this is like the other issues we've Seen (Vet Nanny, Mask for all occasions, Arena Master) being included again after being removed

I hope not. "One that didn't get away" is one of the most broken achievements out right now, it might be possible if you throw some of the non-meta fish in there (like Crafty)
