Peacebloom (1): This plant likes to grow in open areas that receive fair amounts of sunlight.

Found In: Darkshore, Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Mulgore, Silverpine Forest, Teldrassil, The Barrens, Tirisfal Glades, and Westfall.

Silverleaf (1): Silverleaf is a bush that likes to grow at the base of trees.

Found In: Darkshore, Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Mulgore, Silverpine Forest, Teldrassil, The Barrens, Tirisfal Glades, and Westfall.

Earthroot (15): Often considered valuable, this herb grows on hillsides, mainly sticking out of the actual sides of these hills. A great spot to find earthroot is in the excavation site, now overrun by troggs, in Dun Morogh.

Found In: Darkshore, Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Mulgore, Silverpine Forest, Teldrassil, The Barrens, Tirisfal Glades, and Westfall. Instances: Wailing Caverns.

Mageroyal (50): A wonderful herb often used in mana related potions. Mageroyal can be found in open areas much like peacebloom. Mageroyal seems to grow plentifully in dry areas such as the Barrens and Westfall, though it has been known to grow in moist conditions as well.

Found In: Ashenvale, Darkshore, Durotar, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Loch Modan, Redridge Mountains, Silverpine Forest, Stonetalon Mountains, Teldrassil, The Barrens, Westfall, and Wetlands. Instances: Wailing Caverns

Briarthorn (70): Briarthorn is a small thorny bush that grows at the base of trees. It is often considered valuable, this may be due to the difficult nature of picking it...thorns hurt!

Found In: Ashenvale, Darkshore, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Loch Modan, Redridge Mountains, Silverpine Forest, The Barrens, Westfall, and Wetlands. Instances: Razorfen Kraul and Wailing Caverns.

Swiftthistle (50 and 70 by default): Swiftthistle is a parasitic plant that makes itself at home on briarthorn and mageroyal. This plant is prized by rogues for its energy restoring abilities.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Azshara, Darkshore, Desolace, Dustwallow Marsh, Feralas, Hillsbrad Foothills, Silverpine Forest, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, Tanaris, The Barrens, The Hinterlands, Westfall, and Wetlands. Instances: Blackfathom Deeps and Maraudon.

Bruiseweed (100): Like the name suggests this plant is a weed. This does not however mean it should be overlooked, since when combined with other herbs it can enhance healing effects. Being a weed, it is looked down upon by the light and when combined with another weed of a parasitic nature, swiftthistle, can aid the drinker in resisting holy damage. Bruiseweed fondly grows next to things such as houses, hills, wagons, and any number of other objects.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Darkshore, Desolace, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Loch Modan, Redridge Mountains, Silverpine Forest, Stonetalon Mountains, The Barrens, Thousand Needles, Westfall, and Wetlands.

Wild Steelbloom (115): One of the more interesting and exotic plants of Azeroth, it can be found growing on hillsides much like earthroot. Unlike earthroot however, Wild Steelbloom usually grows at the top of inclines instead of growing out of them.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Badlands, Desolace, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Stonetalon Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale, The Barrens, Thousand Needles, and Wetlands.

Grave Moss (120): An all too common herb these days, Grave Moss grows on the graves of the fallen. If you desire this herb then head to a gravesite and you will more than likely find it and who knows what else.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Desolace, Duskwood, The Barrens, and Wetlands. Instances: Razorfen Downs and Scarlet Monestry-Graveyard.

Kingsblood (125): Prized by many traders, Kingsblood can be found in a number of areas. Like most flowers, Kingsblood likes to grow in sunny locations, meaning open spaces. Kingsblood also likes water; it can be found in massive quantities in marshy areas.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Badlands, Desolace, Duskwood, Dustwallow Marsh, Hillsbrad Foothills, Stonetalon Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, The Barrens, Thousand Needles, and Wetlands. Instances: Scarlet Monestary-Cathedral and Wailing Caverns

Liferoot (150): Used in a variety of healing and protection potions, Liferoot can be found growing along the edges of rivers, lakes, ponds, and pools.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Ashenvale, Desolace, Dustwallow Marsh, Feralas, Hillsbrad Foothills, Silverpine Forest, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, The Hinterlands, and Wetlands. Instances: Scalet Monestary-Cathedral and Wailing Caverns

Fadeleaf (160): A difficult to find herb, Fadeleaf tends to grow near bushes and trees. It is often as elusive as the rogues who prize it so much.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Badlands, Dustwallow Marsh, Stranglethorn, Swamp of Sorrows, and The Hinterlands. Instances: Razorfen Kraul and Scarlet Monestary-Armory

Goldthorn (170): This thorny plant is found on hillsides much like Wild Steelbloom. Look in the same sorts of places and you will undoubtedly find Goldthorn.

Found In: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Azshara, Badlands, Dustwallow Marsh, Feralas, Hillsbrad Foothills, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, and The Hinterlands.

Wintersbite (195): This rare plant is found at high altitudes with lots of snow nearby. Try searching the Alterac area for this herb but be warned, restless ogres are known to be in the area.

Found In: Alterac Mountains

Firebloom (205): This shockingly red flower enjoys long walks next to lava flows and scorching hot sunlight. Look in warm open areas if you are in need of this plant, be sure to bring sun block!

Found In: Badlands, Blasted Lands, Searing Gorge, and Tanaris.

Purple Lotus (210): If searching for this plant it is important to remember that it tends to grow near locations of great historical value, in other words, ruins. Look for this plant next to broken walls or fallen columns but be on your toes, there is no telling what tortured souls may be wandering these ruins looking to "ruin" your day.

Found In: Ashenvale, Azshara, Badlands, Feralas, Stranglethorn Vale, Tanaris, and The Hinterlands. Instances: Dire Maul East and ZG

Wildvine (210): Wildvine is a vine plant that enjoys spending time with Purple Lotus, and can be found when picking a Purple Lotus plant. Trolls are also known to carry these plants around, believing it brings good luck; it wasnt so lucky for the trolls I got it off of.

Found In: Ashenvale, Azshara, Badlands, Feralas, Stranglethorn Vale, Tanaris, and The Hinterlands.

Arthas' Tears (220): A very pretty violet flower found in the plague ravaged lands now inhabited by ghouls of all sorts. The flowers grow in the open, basking in corrupted sunlight.

Found In: Eastern Plaguelands, Felwood, and Western Plaguelands. Instances: Razorfen Downs

Sungrass (230): Mostly found in middle elevations, Sungrass grows in open fields basking in sunlight. Viscous beasts are known to haunt the locations where sungrass grows so keep an eye out for any beast you may be depriving of a meal.

Found In: Azshara, Blasted Lands, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, Felwood, Feralas, Silithus, The Hinterlands, UnGoro Crater, and Western Plaguelands.

Blindweed (235): Preferring moist areas, Blindweed likes to grow next to small streams and rivers. Blindweed is known to grow in profusion in the swamp (river delta?) known as the Swamp of Sorrows.

Found In: Swamp of Sorrows and UnGoro Crater. Instances: Maraudon.

Ghost Mushroom (245): One of the most difficult herbs to acquire, Ghost Mushrooms grow underground in caves. The easiest place to find these mushrooms is in Skulk Rock, located in the Hinterlands. Be careful when investigating this cave however, there are reports that the slime growing in the cave has gained an appetite.

Found In: The Hinterlands. Instances: Dire Maul East and Maraudon

Gromsblood (250): A dangerous plant to be after at any time of the day, Gromsblood can be found near demons and the places they taint with their presence. Found in great quantities around corrupted water sources, Gromsblood will also grow in dry areas.

Found In: Ashenvale, Blasted Lands, Desolace, and Felwood. Instances: Dire Maul East.

Golden Sansam (260): This root plant can be found growing in open areas. The Hinterlands has a fair amount growing in it as do other mid altitude locations.

Dreamfoil (270): A beautiful flower found in open areas. Dreamfoil tends to grow in places where dreams of the innocent have been foiled.

Found In: Azshara, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, Felwood, Silithus, UnGoro Crater, and Western Plaguelands.

Mountain Silversage (280): A must for any garden due to its beauty and many uses, Mountain Silversage grows on hillsides much like Wild Steelbloom.

Found In: Azshara, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, Felwood, Silithus, UnGoro Crater, Western Plaguelands, and Winterspring.

Plaguebloom (285): Found in open areas like most flowers, Plaguebloom likes to occupy the plague tainted lands of the north. Nasty creatures and old acquaintances long dead may be nearby, so please be careful when picking these.

Found In: Eastern Plaguelands, Western Plaguelands, and Felwood.

Icecap (290): This plant, much like Wintersbite, grows in cold snowy areas. If you want Icecap then your best bet is a long hike to Winterspring. Once in Winterspring please watch out for anything that may try and make a quick snack of you and beware of the Yeti, they may look huggable but they leave you with a terrible rash.

Found In: Winterspring.

Black Lotus (300): Not as dark of a plant as the name suggests, the Black Lotus is a beautiful flower the color of blood, easily comparable to the blood on your fingers after picking it...darn thorns. Be very careful when picking this herb, it does not like to grow in the most friendly of locations.

Found In: Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, and Winterspring. Also in the DM arena at certain times.

An alternate alliance path that I've found very helpful is Dun Morogh -> Loch Modan -> Wetlands -> Duskwood... and then the rest as you listed.

Thank you for the help though! (There is one spelling mistake on the Black Lotus description that might merit a correction, but all the info is great)

Yes, at skill 200 you should be able to harvest the herbs in SoS. Spend an hour or so picking herbs and your skill should be very high afterwards.

I assume you are doing your druid poison quest then? Lunar Fungus is not a real herb, it is considered a quest herb. It can be found in the Moonkin caves east of town in Darkshore. At least thats what I think I remember.

Yes, and in fact you can stay there if you choose...Blindweed stays green all the way to 300 and there is an abundance of it in the Swamp. It seems to sell fairly well too, as it's used in Superior Mana Potions (which many casters resort to using, due to the high cost of Major Mana ones).

And to the OP, great post! Thanks for putting this up, hope to see it get a Sticky. ^.^

How long does it usually take you to get up to 300 herbalism? (assuming you start at 1 with a level 60 charecter on an epic mount)

Also, how long to get to 150?

Thanks!
