Is the hidden rating getting reset (we know the visible ones are) ?

Seriously blizz you are really screwing up this game. Resetting arena points? This is a slap in the face!

You're resetting arena points?! I've been sitting on points for weeks, was planning on buying full deadly the first day :(

You just saved everyone below 1600 from spending time continuing to play games this season.

If you can't buy anything now, you can't save for next season, then why even que it up?

I recall between S1-S4, you could save points. Doesn't make sense, but you guys make the rules, we just pay to play.

If you're going to do this, a suggestion would be to reduce the ratings on the hateful/deadly to the S6 ratings during the last days so at least people can spend their hard earned points.

I know you will be reseting arena points - as you have done in the past, and I understand this. What I wanted to ask was if you were going to release some items (gems maybe) that could be purchased with our stockpiled points. In my teams case, when the point system was reset, we evened out in the 1400's which I am good with. But the items kept their original purchase values, and it was impossible for us to attain that. So I have all my season's points, but nothing to spend them on. Was just wondering.

If you were one of those you couldn't have 6k points because you would have bought all your gear and maybe the weap too.

The people on the low end of the ladder are getting screwed again. You're already getting the lowest number of points per week, might at well make them worth nothing now.

People stuck at 1800-1900 rating since this season began can have all of the deadly gear and cannot buy an offhand, weapon, shoulders, or helm.

They can have everything else but will still rot 6000 points because they decided to change the point system mid-season and failed miserably at any type of timely balance.

Although this would be bad, at the same time I don't feel like fighting S4 Glads in full deadly + 2-3/5 furious gear the first several weeks because arena ratings are also reset.
I can see a point to this and a bad point. No matter what, Blizz surely bent us over in the arena system and plowed it to us.

Ever think those people were never meant to have access to the weapons and shoulders? You know, a rating based system makes no sense if nearly everyone has access to the top rewards.

But I probably missed the point of your post, you are probably saying that all your points are going to waste and there really isn't much you can do about it.

If you played every week so far, stayed under 1600, and bought 2 pieces of Savage (because you didn't have the rating for the epic pvp sets), you would still have below 3,000 arena points. Hardly enough to make a big purchase on even the non rated gear.
